Prepare to be thrilled at this all-star Italian restaurant located off Kings Highway in Myrtle Beach, SC. Gios Italian Kitchen Myrtle Beach is family owned and operated since August 7th, 2014. Brothers/Chefs Klodjan & Renato Hoxha run the kitchen while the sister/GM Eri handles the front. Parents are also involved in the business operation on a daily basis. The Hoxha family was born in Albania and moved to the United States in 2003, seeking the American dream. The family has 15 years of experience in cooking. Our chefs make all the dishes with the freshest ingredients and highest quality of product. Gios serves the best marinara sauce and some of the tastiest authentic Italian dishes in the Grand Strand. We pride ourselves in providing quality consistent good food while emphasizing in excellent guest service. Eat Fresh. Eat Well. Eat Local.

    We were in town visiting for the holidays and decided to give this place a try since it’s located close to the Resort where we are staying in. The hostess sat us down and we waited around 20min for someone to take care of us. It wasn’t until I got up the table and ask one of the personnel if they could please help us out. The server that was supposed to take care of us was a young man named Noah who kept walking by us, directly looking at our table but never even greeted us or asked if we were being taken care of. Right after that I saw him fighting with another server & the hostess refusing to take our table for whatever strange reason. It wasn’t until another server named Sergio came from a different section, apologized and started to take our orders. The food was good don’t get me wrong but if you decide to eat here, do yourself a favor and request Sergio as your server. He was the only person in the entire restaurant that was kind enough to give us some service. I am not sure if we were being treated differently because of our race but I found the rest of the staff to be very mediocre and kind of racist. I actually left the restaurant feeling sad, I would absolutely never come back.

    Freshly made pasta in great sauce combinations. Service was friendly and exceptional. Highly recommended dining experience

    Our favorite place to eat we took friends who were visiting and they loved it enjoyed all their dinners .. Chris is always our server and does an outstanding job 👍

    It was ok but not impressive enough to return. Our Server was great. The food didn't live up to her.

    Had an early (5:00) reservation as plans later for an event. First visit here, seated right away, nice atmosphere with a few different sections that each had their own unique vibe. Christoph (Chris) was our server, outstanding service and personality. Food was delivered promptly after ordering and we were both happy with our meals.

    This was our second visit, and it was as enjoyable as our first. Both the drink/wine menus and the food menu offer many choices. The Mozzarella in Carrozza was "the best I've had," according to a friend who joined us. My Cosmopolitan was perfect and my dinner of Chicken Picatta al Limone was as delicious as the Chicken Mediterranean I'd ordered last time. And on both occasions, I brought home 2/3 of what was on my plate. Sergio was very cordial and attentive. Gio's is one of our new favorite restaurants.

    We try to eat at GIOs every time we’re at the beach which is monthly. Food is always good. My husband got the grouper special and I had the lemon-caper chicken with pasta. It was delicious! Service was okay, we really didn’t see our server often.

    The food was very good and the service was superb. A member in my party was delayed so the staff accommodated me in changing the time of our reservation. The food came out quickly and every request was met with friendly service.
