In 1959, Frank and Tina D'Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their "Paisans" Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original "Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original "Giorgio's" in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as "Sash and Lou", took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. Pictures and paintings of these folks still grace the walls of the establishment today. In 1968, Frank's four sons assumed control of the restaurant and still own and operate it to this day. In 1997 they opened a second location in Milpitas, CA, where they still offer the highest standard of quality food, service, and value to their customers. Bon Appetit!!

We enjoyed our dinner at Giorgio's. We had cocktails, and delicious penne - one with Bolognese, and one Calabrese style, and took home leftovers since the portions are very large. The warm bread is a nice touch - just have to be sure not to eat too much of it before the entree arrives! We also had a glass of wine to complement the meal, and the bill was not as expensive as many other dining establishments we have been to. Our favorite part of the evening was our server, Christina. She had great timing of when to bring food and drinks, she knew a lot about food and wine, and had such a friendly personality! We'll ask for her again the next time we visit Giorgio's. Thanks for a very nice evening!

Food was delicious, especially the Gnocchi and the prawn spinach salad. Our waitress was delightful.

I brought my boyfriend and three other friends here for his birthday! The food was outstanding as usual, we will be back😁

Went last night and all three of our entrees were bland. Literally no flavor it was very disappointing. I sat across from the bar and watched the bartender eat an appetizer with her hands while making drinks. It was pretty unprofessional. The facility and the server were great but the quality of our meals was average at best and the bartender was a disgrace. All while the manager was walking around the area. I assume that is an every day thing for them. I'll try the one in San Jose but we will not be going back to this location. My parents also went to this location in the past and also had a negative experience.

Had lunch for my wife's birthday with our daughter. Great calzone and chicken sandwich. Fast excellent service.

We had a huge party of 13. They were attentive, friendly and everyone was happy. It was HOT as heck outside and they had ceiling fans and a mister that really were nice. Servings were large and everyone took home a box. One thing i would like to suggest: It would be great if they were open an hour later on Fridays during the summer so we could eat there after the music in the park event. Overall we were very happy and had full tummies. We’ll be back!

Two of us had Salmon Florentine. The sauce was very liquidy and for some reason the pasta was very difficult to keep on the fork! Flavor was blah. One person had Lasagna because he says that is always a fairly safe choice. He said it was ok. Portions were not overly large. The bread and butter was good.
