Giorg is a casual fine dining Italian restaurant that has been a pillar of food and service in Thunder Bay for over 30 years. White linens, amazing wines, beautiful food are always enhanced by the care, passion, and attention to detail carried out by the service staff. With over 50 years of combined experience in the dining room, we strive to leave our guests with a lasting memory. Our chef is inspired by the changing flavours of the season and works with products from local farms and purveyors to create our seasonal menu options. Our pasta is made fresh in-house, the traditional way, by extracting it through a bronze die. Whether celebrating a milestone or celebrating Friday night, we will make sure your night is memorable!

Giorg has two private rooms that are available to book for your next event. Our larger room seats 20 people and our smaller room can seat up to 14 people. We offer a variety of menu options for groups, including the very popular family style dinner menu, a plated dinner menu and cocktail party options. Wifi access and a projection screen are available for presentations. With a group of 40 or larger we can also reserve the main dining room area. Please contact the restaurant directly for more information or to book one of our private rooms. * please note, party maximums will follow what is mandated during Covid-19.

Never a bad experience here. Girog is out absolute favorite in Thunder Bay. It is our only place for our date nights. I cannot say enough good things!!

Lovely unrushed dinner/evening with friends! Enjoyed the leisurely pace of our dining experience at Giorg! Maria our amazing server was outstanding in reading our table as to when we to ready to order and the length of time between courses was perfect! The entire meal was mouthwatering from appetizers to our after dinner cappuccinos. Thank you for making our dinner so very memorable ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Best dining experience in the city! The service went above and beyond and kitchen was so helpful with any requests we had. Our server Marie was so friendly and knowledgeable! Delicious menu and wonderful service

I love coming to Giorg for a special night out. This time I was disappointed with the pasta few pasta choices. I was looking forward to a lemon pasta with veg and or sea food. This concern aside, I will be back.

Our anniversary dinner was outstanding. The servers were so thoughtful and patient, they not only made sure our waters were always full but cleaned our table in between courses to make sure everything was perfect. The food was stellar, every course we had we were in disbelief by how spot on the flavours were for each meal. We will be absolutely coming back, this place is so special. Amazing food, atmosphere, and service! If you go, try to get Trevor as your waiter. He was funny, helpful, and really helped to make our anniversary night great!

Our waiter like last time was great! He knew I came for the gnocchi! Great dish for sure! We hadn’t planned to go out this weekend but when I saw the Instagram post well we said let’s early!
