    I was disappointed in Gioia. It is gorgeous and very chic, but the service and food were less than desirable. The bread was a little stale, my chicken was blah (I’ve had much better at a ton of other restaurants and paid half the price), the polenta was very runny, and my dessert was supposed to be strawberry but came out apple. Our server was sweet, but seemed scared like it was his first night on the job. He was whispering and kept apologizing. Very unfortunate!

    Food was very good and the waiter was great. My only complaint is that the food came out too quickly and our meal was over in an hour. Will probably give it another try but will order mains once appetizers are eaten.

    Our service was absolutely awful. We dined here in March and May and had a great time, but this experience was just laughable in how poor the service was and our neighboring table thought it was fine to yell the entire evening. We would have loved to order a nice bottle of wine but we had to flag a server and by the time one came our entrees were delivered. Appetizers were at our table before our cocktails - the whole service was just subpar.

    First time visiting Gioia. Really impressed with the food / service. Cucumber appetizer was out of this world. Ravioli was must try. Highly recommend!
