The beauty and variety of Japanese cuisine reflects on our menus, including Edomae Sushi, Teppanyaki and Robata dishes, as well as one of the most extensive Sake list in London.

Using top quality ingredients we create a beautiful harmony including teppanyaki - a cooking style in which a chef cooks in front of you as well as a very popular Sushi bar.

Great locations, superb intuitive service and solid food. Important criticism is the white steam rice. Gohan is the basis of all Japanese cuisine. The steam rice was a medium grain non-Japanese rice (perhaps Thai), not a good taste for sushi, and served almost cold. The sashimi was wonderful but the rice choice should be improved.

Exceptional tempura, sashimi, sushi and maki rolls. All perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Even the egg fried rice was superb. The wagyu A5 sirloin was the best steak we've ever had. Not cheap, but worth every penny. We ordered A La Carte, the set menus appeared much better value. Possibly the best Japanese restaurant we've been too. The service was friendly and knowledgeable, but somewhat disorganised.

The staff at Ginza were outstanding, they were very attentive and very accommodating of our young child and also my pregnant partners dietary requirements. I would like to personally thank all the staff who worked the evening of the 4th of may for all your care and attention. Besides the service the food was great a little showmanship and letting the ingredients speak for themselves is a winning combo. Thanks for the good time.

Ginza St. James is one of my favorite restaurants in London. I try to be there every time I'm in London. The food and the wine are exceptional.

The overall experience wasn’t memorable and whilst is wasn’t bad for the price point it didn’t meet the top end one would expect.

Very good Japanese food. We had the lunch special which was excellent value and with lots of items for both vegetarians and non vegetarians alike.
