The new premium Italian restaurant and bar will open at the INNSiDE by Melia Manchester hotel in February, to follow an extensive refurbishment of the First Street venue, which the acclaimed Italian chef’s experienced team currently operates under the First Street Bar & Kitchen brand. The opening of Gino D’Acampo, Manchester follows the success of Gino’s restaurants in Newcastle and Liverpool, which feature amongst the cities’ most celebrated restaurants and bars and attract a stylish and discerning crowd.

We had a pre concert dinner here. It was our first time at a Gino D’Campo restaurant an we we very impressed. Luca our server was attentive without boing intrusive. The food was very good quality beautifully presented. The drinks and food were good value for an establishment of this quality. We will certainly be back.

Restaurant was absolutely lovely and I cannot say enough kind words about our waiter, think his name was Pedro and he made our evening so special we were celebrating my girlfriends uni results and he made sure it was extra special bringing over a glass of Prosecco each. Slight issue with food where one of our chickens had some tendons left in but we know that happens sometimes no issue with the chefs and they quickly replaced our meal. Food we had otherwise was absolutely amazing some of the best we’ve had. Arancini and calamari was amazing and the stuffed chicken (both times) was delicious. Will definitely be coming back and hoping to see our friend Pedro again!!

Amazing first time, dining at Gino D. Pedro the waiter was fantastic and made me and family feel welcome. We had 2 young children with us which I know can sometimes be challenging but everyone made us feel welcome. Fully recommend.

Was an excellent experience. Staff were friendly and welcoming, and it was a great atmosphere without being too noisy. Food & drink were delicious and was good value. Was a little more than I’d expect for the menu but I’d recommend & would visit again

Overall a good experience, excellent value set menu. The group all enjoyed the food with lots of fresh ingredients. Goats cheese salad was delicious. Nice to be sat outside in sunshine. A few items out of stock which could have been proactively messaged when menu given rather than rejected when ordering. On lower outside terrace and felt a little forgotten / slow service.

Gino has always been pretty good food but last not it wasn’t the best😗 they didn’t have the starters we wanted and the food quality and presentation just wasn’t like the norm. Prob won’t return any time soon. It wasn’t very busy either for a Friday

Just fabulous! Lovely evening with family. Great arancini, tempura, ribs, steaks and lovely cocktails. Friendly, knowledgable service. Early days for this restaurant..it really deserves support!

Garlic bread to dry, garlic salt rather than garlic butter. Given bottled water at a charge when asked for table water… not given choice. S eating felt like was in a corridor and not sat opposite partner on a Sofa
