NEWLY OPEN!! Gino D’Acampo will be opening a new restaurant and bar in the heart of Manchester, Gino D’Acampo, Manchester. The new premium Italian restaurant and bar will open at the INNSiDE by Melia Manchester hotel in February, to follow an extensive refurbishment of the First Street venue, which the acclaimed Italian chef’s experienced team currently operates under the First Street Bar & Kitchen brand. The opening of Gino D’Acampo, Manchester follows the success of Gino’s restaurants in Newcastle and Liverpool, which feature amongst the cities’ most celebrated restaurants and bars and attract a stylish and discerning crowd.

Having a hen do behind me with inappropriate drunk sex talk while trying to eat my lunch very off putting.the food itself was fresh and tasty though I would have liked to see calories mentioned each dish and small portions for people who can’t eat a lot of rich food.saying that the service was very good and couldn’t fault anything just wish it hadn’t drunken hens!

The overall experience was outstanding! The servers/waiters were all welcoming, with their warm smiles and attentiveness. Nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant was full of people of all ages and the atmosphere was buzzing to the background music, adding to the ambiance. The drinks were delicious and uniquely made. Then came the main event, THE FOOD! Wow! What a luscious, flavoursome meal. The dishes all looked amazing to the eye when first laid on the table, followed by the explosion of taste in our mouths! I would definitely recommend the lasagne! If you crave an Italian meal, Gino's is a must and so authentic.

Had a birthday meal here for a family member. From the minute we walked in the service was amazing. The waiter was attentive, friendly and gave fantastic service. The food was fantastic and couldn't fault any aspect of the whole experience. Outstanding and highly recommended

It is a nice-looking area to eat with nice furnishings, but the music in the background is pretty naff and when you get the bill expect it to be very high. I would not go again even though the food was nice. But good to do it once but not again.

Fabulous food but mentioned at time of booking we were there to celebrate my son's graduation and no acknowledgement at all so disappointed as website said: 4 x Celebrate your Graduation at Gino D'Acampo

The lady who greeted us was polite but brought us to a table right beside another couple. There was probably about 4 tables occupied in the whole restaurant at that time and we were all seated very near each other! We chose the bread selection to share which was very nice. We odered 2 cocktails which were also very good. I also asked for tapwater and received a glass bottle. The man who brought out the food was polite. Main courses were mixed. I ordered the bolognaise and my partner had a pizza..Some fries completed the order. My pasta dish was heavily seasoned as were the fries..I ended up leaving half the fries and about a third of the pasta. My partner enjoyed the pizza but had the same complaint with the fries and my pasta. While we were eating, the water bottle,now empty,was removed and never returned. We would have ordered another cocktail but were never asked. While we were eating another couple came in and had a very loud facetime conversation,not the restaurant's fault I know but added to the weird atmosphere. The table beside us became empty and staff cleaned it with spray which also sprayed my arm and our table! Our table was cleared and the waiter just asked if we wanted coffee. He didnt mention desserts or more drinks. We had enough at this stage and paid our bill (over £70) and left a small tip. Overall very disappointing food and service and certainly overrated.

We had a pre concert dinner here. It was our first time at a Gino D’Campo restaurant an we we very impressed. Luca our server was attentive without boing intrusive. The food was very good quality beautifully presented. The drinks and food were good value for an establishment of this quality. We will certainly be back.

Restaurant was absolutely lovely and I cannot say enough kind words about our waiter, think his name was Pedro and he made our evening so special we were celebrating my girlfriends uni results and he made sure it was extra special bringing over a glass of Prosecco each. Slight issue with food where one of our chickens had some tendons left in but we know that happens sometimes no issue with the chefs and they quickly replaced our meal. Food we had otherwise was absolutely amazing some of the best we’ve had. Arancini and calamari was amazing and the stuffed chicken (both times) was delicious. Will definitely be coming back and hoping to see our friend Pedro again!!
