I’m so excited to announce the third restaurant in partnership with hotel giant Melia, is Gino D’Acampo Old Hall Street.

It’s a beautiful modern open plan restaurant with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Old Hall Street. Talking of skylines, you have to visit Sky Bar 360 on the top floor, it’s a huge contemporary terrace which has unrivalled views over Liverpool and the River Mersey, I can’t wait for you to see it.

Serving real Italian food as it should be, the menu really does have something for everyone. Check out my new lounge bar as well, it serves one of the biggest selections of Prosecco, sparkling wine and Franciacorta in the UK, with over 30 varieties for you to choose from. Pop by for a drink after work or enjoy one or two while you dine, the choice is yours.

Waited an hour to order after asking several times 2 out of 6 meals awful 2 ok the staff were very polite but it was disorganised would not recommend for the money the roof top sky bar far better

Beautiful layout and set up in the restaurant. Members of staff very friendly and helpful. Service and food both outstanding!

Waiting 2 hours for a main course- terrible experience especially as I had customers out for the evening

The food was lovely but the service was awful. Took ages to order a drink, ages to order food ages for the food to come. Each time a different member of staff came so no one person was responsible for our table which I thought was a basic restaurant management principle. We were there for my wife's 40th, one member of staff said they'd 'make her feel special' but didn't, as we were waiting so long someone said they would bring us some olives, they didn't. We ordered some espresso martinis which didn't come after 20 minutes. So we paid and left. It's a lovely setting, great food and lots of staff around so please get on top of this.

The food was superb but the dining experience was lousy. The problem was the lighting and seating. It was so dark you couldn’t read the menu and we needed to use our phone torches despite being under a lampshade. The banquet seating meant those on it were inches below those on chairs and they said they felt Miles away from the table. The chairs were comedically small. The servers confirmed there was nothing they could do about the lighting and to come next time at 5pm when it’s still light outside! What a pity. They also ran out of belly pork and finding another dairy free alternative on the menu was tricky.
