I’m so excited to announce the third restaurant in partnership with hotel giant Melia, is Gino D’Acampo Old Hall Street.

It’s a beautiful modern open plan restaurant with floor to ceiling windows overlooking Old Hall Street. Talking of skylines, you have to visit Sky Bar 360 on the top floor, it’s a huge contemporary terrace which has unrivalled views over Liverpool and the River Mersey, I can’t wait for you to see it.

Serving real Italian food as it should be, the menu really does have something for everyone. Check out my new lounge bar as well, it serves one of the biggest selections of Prosecco, sparkling wine and Franciacorta in the UK, with over 30 varieties for you to choose from. Pop by for a drink after work or enjoy one or two while you dine, the choice is yours.

Food was fabulous and plentiful 😘 Superb customer service from our server Haimi All your staff are so wonderful Just missing the intimacy of the other restaurant This venue is too big and felt like dining in a massive hotel lobby!

Nice place, food average for an Italian but not what I would recommend if you want proper Italian. Food was out quickly, not as tasty. (Never left a pasta half eaten before) Service was brilliant though and surroundings lovely. Cater more for quick service and lack quality.

Friendly staff and a lovely restaurant, our food was delicious and served quickly, the staff were knowledgeable of the menu and the company, and were happy and considerate. It was quiet when we went, in a space as big and open as the restaurant, it did feel that it lacked atmosphere, the background music was so quiet it was barely noticeable which only added to the feeling

I love Gino's we live in Sheffield and visit Liverpool every year with different friends and family members and I always get us booked into the Sky Bar and the Restaurant, this is our sixth time. Took my four girlfriends on Sunday evening 27th October, I had been raving about how lovely it was and how they would love the food, the roof top bar, the ambience and wonderful service........how bad did I feel when we waited 20 minutes in the Sky Bar to have our drinks order taken and the drinks were not up to scratch as apparently there were 2 waiters and only 1 bar man! Our table in the restaurant was booked for 8pm we arrived at 7.50pm and the table was eventually ready at 8.20pm. There were few people eating in comparison to the amount of covers available. We eventually got our drinks and ordered our food, around an hour later in arrived COLD as if it had been stood waiting to be served. Very disappointing, good food ruined, lots left on our plates and a hefty bill at the end. Apparently they were short staffed and boy did that show. I am hoping that this was just a bad day as I really like to come to this restaurant but not to receive the overall disappointment that happened on Sunday.

Lovely food. Very friendly waiter who was always available if needed. Food was great as well. Only thing I would say is where we were seated next to the window was very dark and we struggled with the menu. Ambience is lovely but maybe slightly brighter light above the table was needed.

The restaurant itself had a lovely layout and the staff were friendly. However we were very disappointed with the quality of the food, probably the worse lasagne I’ve ever had, starters were bland too, for the price we was expecting better.

Wonderful experience and fantastic food. The table service was great and our needs completely catered for. The steak was cooked to perfection. I would definitely return in the future.
