We thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Gino’s in Leeds. The food was excellent; we ordered pasta carbonara, pasta with smoked salmon and pasta with wild boar, all of which were perfectly cooked with exceptional flavours. The staff were attentive and very polite. Our positive experience was made even better when our daughter was pleasantly surprised at the end of the meal with a complimentary dessert as she was celebrating her 25th birthday.

Reserved a table to celebrate a family birthday. The booking process was very easy and on arrival the staff were very friendly. We ordered starters but when they arrived one of the orders was wrong and so we had to send it back. When it came to the main course, one of the orders was for a fillet steak. After all the dishes had arrived the waiter left and it was then we realised there was no steak knife. It took a while to gain someone's attention, but eventually, a steak knife arrived. The steak was not the best cut. It had what appeared to be tendons and fat sinew, even the steak knife couldn't cut through them. All in all, it was rather disappointing, and we had expected better.

Start to finish this didn’t disappoint. Great pre-dinner cocktails in the bar followed by an amazing meal in a restaurant full of buzz and atmosphere The waiting and bar staff were brilliant too, very friendly, fun, efficient and hugely knowledgeable. In fact if it hadn’t been for our waiter (Daniel) making some amazing food and wine recommendations, we’d still be sat at the table trying to pick what to eat. There were too many amazing dishes to choose from. Will need to go back and try more of them. Ps the Lemon Drop cocktail was amazing
