Food and service was great. Wine options were strangely narrow/vague unless you ask what they are and then realize very overpriced for being Bogle and Josh even for restaurant pricing. Also not a fan of the fine print of bumping parties of 2 to the bar when a table is specifically booked instead of the bar.

Went for an early dinner and it was great! Server was knowledgeable and polite. Food was good and reasonably priced for West Loop.

Service was very crappy and music was so loud that we couldn’t hear ourselves think (and it wasn’t like super energetic music so really had no business being that loud). Food was fine.

Gino and Marty’s Chicago is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, the warm, welcoming atmosphere makes you feel right at home. The food is simply outstanding—authentic Chicago flavors with a twist that makes every dish memorable. The service is top-notch, too; Gino and Marty are genuinely passionate about what they do, and it shows in every aspect of the restaurant. Whether you’re a local or just visiting, this place is a must-try. I can’t wait to come back!

I made the reservation based on the restaurants ambiance and the nice interior design as well as the great food reviews. When I got there they only said they had outside seating even though I saw a booth open when arriving and also did let the host know I would prefer inside compared to the outside patio. The outside patio in that area is not the best place to be as it’s a big bar scene area and you have a lot of drunks walking by and kind of defeated the purpose of me picking this restaurant. The food and service was amazing and are what made the experience worth it. Definitely disappointed though because I did come for a special occasion and felt like I didn’t get the full experience.
