Booked G&M my birthday dinner. The waitress helping the host at entry was incredibly rude to us. Then we sat 20 minutes later than our reservation, didn’t get our first drink until 25 minutes after sitting, they entirely forgot our appetizers, & our entrees (once we got them) were either boiling hot or cold. Our server was very apologetic, but the experience was just terrible. Very disappointed.

The one and only Bartender was bothered to make us drinks while we waited for our table. After 10 min waiting the hostess had to alert him we were waiting for him and that was after the bar back alerted him we wanted a drink also. Last year same bartender was amazing. Clearly he was having an off night. Hostess was great and accommodating . Server was so so. They included a 20% service charge on the bill and the server told us he only gets 10% and the remainder goes to the “house”. Idk about that . Also, we paid $20 per person to book reservation and that should have been deducted off the bill, and it wasn’t . Need to follow up . Food was great

Gino & Marty's had always exceeded my expectations with food and service. The staff is wonderful and food is delish. A definite place on my West Loop rotation.

For $20 per head to reserve a table I was expecting a much better experience. My reservation was at 8:30 and we didn’t get seated until around 9:00 upstairs. The appetizers came out fast but the rest of the food didn’t come out until an hour and a half later, which forced us to feel the need to eat fast because the upstairs area turns into a bar at 10:30. It felt like everyone was just waiting for us to leave. To add, some of the pasta we had wasn’t very flavorful. The only positive was our waitress - she was kind & apologetic. Overall super disappointed & would say that wasn’t worth what we spent.

It was brilliant food wise and the Barman was very professional The Hostess was terrible and only focused on locals

Hands down one of the best of service experiences I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time! My favorite drink was the doctors orders! Top food items scallops, New York strip and chicken wings!

Food was delicious. All the fees are a bit much (deposit for reservation, 20% service charge for party of 5, credit card usage fee) but overall good experience.

Food and service was great. Wine options were strangely narrow/vague unless you ask what they are and then realize very overpriced for being Bogle and Josh even for restaurant pricing. Also not a fan of the fine print of bumping parties of 2 to the bar when a table is specifically booked instead of the bar.
