Wonderful restaurant. You can't go wrong. Gibsons never fails...except we had reserved this dinner for a birthday celebration requested a table close to window with THE BEST RESTAURANT VIEW in Chicago down the River. Stuck us first close to the pathway to the kitchen then I had us moved to a large booth, but no direct view out. Apologies were given but nothing else. For that price point, next time just to to bar which has direct view.

We only have 10 tables directly on the glass 6 of which flip for slightly larger groups. This leaves 4 tables for any window requests. Many of the 500/600 on a nightly basis request direct window and we just don't have enough tables to accommodate as many as we would like. The dining room was laid out so that all the booths face the river so each of the tables does offer a beautiful view. Would be happy to do my best to put you on a window in the future. Absolutely stunning restaurant with views of the river and options to be seated. The food was on par with the views and service to match. We ate lunch at this amazing spot on our way back home and would love to come back. The risotto was the best risotto I have had and scallops perfectly cooked.

Service for a business lunch was awful. It took over an hour to get our meal. They must be understaffed in kitchen.
