Located in the middle of Lemon Grove’s charming downtown area, Giardino is a welcoming and casual Italian inspired cucina where the neighborhood gathers for fresh and flavorful classic dishes found throughout Italy.

My husband and I both loved our entrees-the seasonal cocktail I got was awesome too. Ambiance is normally quiet but on special occasions they seem to add a bit of energy with a band which I find to be fun. Service is always fantastic, food is always delicious.

We enjoyed our experience but the Jazz Band was a bit to loud. When it was just keyboard, string and drum, it was much better. The food was very delicious and we will be back

Wanted to have an early NYE dinner, and this was the perfect place. It was a last-minute reservation, so the only option was outdoor seating, but it was perfect because the seating area was covered, and space heaters were available. The food was delicious (as always). The servers were polite and attentive even though it was obvious they were busy. There was a jazz band that played inside, but we were still able to enjoy it even though we were outside. Overall, it was a great experience.

My wife and I had such a great evening at Giardino Neighborhood Cucina in Lemon Grove. The food was incredible – the Pappardelle Bolognese was rich and flavorful, the Tiramisu was perfect, and the wine selection really brought everything together. Roberto, our server, was amazing—so friendly and attentive. After dinner, we checked out Zest, the wine bistro right next door, owned by the same people as Giardino. Heather was working there and gave us great recommendations for wine, making it a perfect way to end the night. If you’re looking for delicious Italian food, awesome service, and a great spot to relax with a glass of wine, Giardino and Zest are a winning combo. We can’t wait to come back!

Busy but attentive, service and food were great. We love the fact they always cater to the kids and make them feel special and a part of the experience. Full bar and a great wine list!

Fantastic restaurant. Food was amazing; ambiance was fun; service was attentive. Only downside is limited parking. Will definitely be back.

I came here in a large group, the food was amazing! Our server Shannon was careful to let the kitchen know, I had the best pizza with the most amazing gf crust, tons of veggies, it was the BEST pizza I’ve ever had! I had an amazing espresso martini for dessert, 10/10, will definitely come back with my dog! Their patio is dog friendly.

This is a great local neighborhood restaurant with cute decor and a nice ambiance. The mushroom rosotto was wonderful, but the parm chicken was dry and the short rib gnocchi lacked a good based sauce. The bruschetta was great as well as the garlic bread and meatballs. We were a large party so I had the opportunity to taste quite a few dishes. Even though we were a large party the service was good, although a bit slow but that is to be expected with large groups. Overall, I felt the prices were too high for the quality of food and will most likely try other places before going back anytime soon. If they can figure out the best pricing to go along with the food, it could be a nice neighborhood restaurant for locals in the area.
