Gia is among the first restaurants in Canada to be recognized and recommended by the renowned Michelin Guide. Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta with creative takes on Italian classics like plant-based meatballs, Focaccia, Ricotta Gnocchi, Lumache Bolognese, White Truffle Ricotta Agnolotti.

Reservations: We allocate a dining period of 2 hours and typically book at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm & 10pm,
If you need more than 2 hours kindly let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Maximum party size is 5 Friday to Sunday. Bar seating available.

Gia surpasse le gibier italien sans viande avec de succulentes pâtes maison qui mettent en valeur les ingrédients de saison de l'Ontario, notamment un délicieux tonnarelli tartufo avec une sauce au beurre de truffe et de noix de cajou. Mais le lieu ne peut accueillir que 35 personnes. Vous devez donc réserver à l'avance pour déguster les chefs-d'œuvre à base de plantes et les vins bio du restaurant.

The service was some of the WORST I’ve ever had anywhere. So rude, so inattentive. Blonde girl with the blue and white striped shirt. She was cold and sarcastic for seemingly no reason, towards other tables too. We sat with empty plates for 45 minutes. We would have ordered more drinks/food. I’ve never left a review anywhere before, but this was awful. Ruined our night. Also not sure why they ask you to mention special occasions when booking, they don’t acknowledge them at all. GIA used to be our go-to spot but after this visit I think we’ll look elsewhere. It was upsetting.

Drinks: Canadian Pie and Baked Goods. The rhubarb taste was great and we gulped the whole thing. Starters: Shishito Peppers and side of Green Beans. While the peppers had the occasional citrus kick, the green beans were more consistent. Both were tasty though. Mains: Eggplant Parmesan and the Gemille. The Eggplant Parmesan was fantastic. Crispy, cooked through, and the garlic sauce was what brought it all together. Just perfect. The Gemille was so-so. Dessert: Semolina cake. The sponge wasn't dry and the orange/lime zest syrup with a cream of some kind was spot-on. The cream was quite heavy but the cale was light and we finished the whole thing. Kylie was extremely sweet and attentive, even engaging with our 3 year old. The staff here seem happy to be part of the restaurant. With their menus being seasonal,we would definitely want to go back and dine again.

Great choice for anyone seeking a fully vegan restaurant. Don't be fooled by the plant forward approach, if you're not normally vegan don't think that you won't enjoy this restaurant. I am not exclusively vegan but really enjoyed everything I ate here. The atmosphere is lovely, upmarket but friendly and welcoming. The menu offers a variety of choices, including cheese dishes for vegetarians and most dishes can be made fully vegan. The portions are filling but don't comprise on flavour. The service was some of the best service we've had in the city, really friendly, polite but still formal adding to a really nice experience. Our server (Kylie maybe?) was so friendly, funny and really made our experience feel special.

I’ve been to GIA more than 20 times and this is the first time I can honestly say I wouldn’t recommend it. The first server we had was wearing a lot of perfume. My daughter is allergic to perfume and had an allergic reaction at the table. Since this was her birthday celebration we were extra disappointed. I carefully asked another server to ensure the current server wouldn’t come back to our table which he did. The gentleman who took over was fantastic. However, the server wearing the perfume spent the following 20 minutes or so gossiping about us amongst the other servers and some of the kitchen staff making us feel incredibly uncomfortable and ultimately ruining my daughter’s birthday dinner. It was very disappointing. I was very considerate in how I delivered my message about how perfume affects my daughter. The same consideration was not given to us in return.

Always hunting for unique Vegan culinary experiences for my partner, I stumbled upon GIA. We were both quite impressed with both the food quality and ambiance. I would absolutely recommend this spot!

Delicious food with so many options for people with restrictions. We had a friend in town visiting who is vegetarian, celiac, and allergic to cow dairy and we were able to order a fantastic selection of dishes with the kitchen easily able to make changes to accommodate us. We had a brand new server who was wonderful! She took the time to find out the answers to all our questions and was a delight to interact with. The whiskey sours we started with were top notch as were the wine selections we had. We love this restaurant!

Unfortunate experience. It was my sisters birthday and we had heard great things Gia. Although my sister enjoyed her meal, a couple of things could have been improved.
