Gia is among the first restaurants in Canada to be recognized and recommended by the renowned Michelin Guide. Gia is a vibrant plant-forward 36 seat restaurant, specializing in handmade pasta with creative takes on Italian classics like plant-based meatballs, Risotto, Focaccia, Ricotta Gnocchi, Rigatoni Bolognese, White Truffle Porcini Agnolotti.

Reservations: We allocate a dining period of 2 hours and typically book at 5pm, 6pm and 8pm & 10pm,
If you need more than 2 hours kindly let us know in advance and we will do our best to accommodate.
Maximum party size is 5 Friday to Sunday. Bar seating available.

Gia surpasse le gibier italien sans viande avec de succulentes pâtes maison qui mettent en valeur les ingrédients de saison de l'Ontario, notamment un délicieux tonnarelli tartufo avec une sauce au beurre de truffe et de noix de cajou. Mais le lieu ne peut accueillir que 35 personnes. Vous devez donc réserver à l'avance pour déguster les chefs-d'œuvre à base de plantes et les vins bio du restaurant.

    TLDR; There are better vegan spots in the city. I had been meaning to try Gia for a very long time because of their vegan and vegetarian offerings. However, I was really disappointed with my experience. We went for dinner and ordered the Arancini, Lumache Bolognese, and Farro Verde. The Arancini was okay, nothing great. I liked the Lumache Bolognese and the Farro Verde lacked flavour. Average service, but my to-go order got forgotten. Had to run back for it. Our server didn’t even come to check in if the food was okay and such. I think the service could have been more friendly, it was a little cold. Had been meaning to try their tiramisu so I might go back, but I think there’s better vegan spots in the city for the price and the experience.

    The service needs more friendliness and attention. The food is well prepared and has a strong flavor, and the dishes are well served. Good variety to accommodate all dietary preferences and allergies.

    Incredible Food ! I have traveled length of Italy multiple times and visited top notch authentic restaurants there - so my gauging standards are quite high - Gia takes plant based italian food to a next level. The proscuitto with melon was almost indistinguishable from the real one - the risotto verdura was a feast for senses… make sure you do visit this place if you love Italian food.. total 5 stars !!

    Food and service were great. The only thing that was a bit unpleasant was that, despite the restaurant being nearly empty (I didn’t see anyone else but not 100% sure the back didn’t have a table), we were sat very closely next to the only other party. It was strange. A little space would have been nice. Even just one table separation.
