Gi-Jin is a gin and raw bar that re-imagines the sushi experience where we marry global ingredients with traditional Japanese flavors to create inspired combinations of color, technique, and style.

Our intimate space operates on a reservation-only basis for parties of
no more than FOUR (4) people per table and ONE/TWO per seating at our counter.
Online reservations are always open with real-time availability.
Each reservation seating is designated 2 hours per booking.

We do not allow any outside alcohol. if you have a request for a specific beverage please email info@gijinpgh.com prior to your visit and we will try our best to bring it in!

Food is great, decent value for good cuts of sushi. We don’t drink so no help there. Service was good, server seemed newer, but they’re usually pretty on point

Extraordinary dining experience. Everything we had was sublime. I especially loved the Onigiri. A must-have! Definitely splurge and get the toro. Unbelievably good! Our server was a doll: cheerful, fun, attentive And she knew her stuff

Every experience we’ve had at Gi-Jin in the last year has been so good! This one was no exception, we had never been on a Tuesday night though and the slower pace of the week was really nice! As always, Reagan was an absolute delight to see (she wasn’t our server this time but she always takes care of us when she sees us) MK was so nice to see as well, love talking to her about food (of course) We had Nimra as our server this time and just loved her! She was attentive and a pleasure to talk to throughout the night. These girls really know how to make people feel special! Gi-Jin is still our favorite restaurant in the city, the service is amazing and the food equally as good. Forever my favorite place to get uni and all our other nigiri cravings.

Food and service was great!! Too bad the table beside us had a bright light on and their phones out through most of our dinner so that kinda ruined the ambiance!

Still my favorite restaurant in Pittsburgh. Expensive, but well worth it for the quality of food and service. Everyone is always super friendly and service is amazing. Water glasses are filleed without you even realizing it. The food is amazing and the atmosphere is great. I'm such a fan! The chairs at the sushi bar are definitely very cold this time of year, but you get used to them. Ha ha ha...
