A pursuit for knowledge was the stimulus and continues to be the driving force behind Chef Niven’s career. Ghee means PURE and has a symbolic meaning both spiritually and in the kitchen of an Indian home. The restaurant encompass traditional Indian home cooking, ingredient driven using local artisan purveyors. Chef Niven highlights the experience of dining at Ghee: "I want to my guests to walk into Ghee with the sense of entering my home. I want them to feel at home. I want them to smell the aromas and spices and get more engaged in their meal. One of the things that I always tell my cooks is, ask questions, be inquisitive if you don’t know. I want the same for my guests."

This was our 2nd visit, and once again excellent. Appetizers: Green Papaya (a repeat) & the Samosa Thali (chicken and potato, they were great! but if u like spicy I recommend the potato one). Entrees the Vindaloo Pork Meatball (also a repeat) and the Beef Korma, good sized portion of meat. and very tasty sauce; I like it extra spicy so asked for the house hot sauce. Ordered the garlic naan to enjoy with Korma Sauce. Too full for dessert, enjoyed a med-full bodied Malbec - El Burro. Server (Genisis) was excellent. Looking forward to next visit

Third time eating here and the food never disappoints. We did the tasting menu for the first time that was a great way to try things we’d normally wouldn’t order and now I will definitely add to the rotation. One thing we were a disappointed about was that when booking the reservation we had reserved for standard seating and were sat outside not knowing outside was considered standard seating. Usually outside and standard are separate when booking reservations which is definitely a big difference especially in Miami summer months.

Excellent food, portions seem small but are deceivingly filling. Definitely get a couple apps to share, the samosas and peri peri wings were delicious. Lively atmosphere with friendly and attentive waitstaff. Ghee has been a staple in the neighborhood for years and I’m glad to see they are still popular-for good reason!

Have had definitely much better meals in the past at Ghee. This one seemed to be a new menu, at least for us, and didn’t deliver taste wise.

We were looking forward to experience Ghee, as we had heard many good things. It did not disappoint. We went for lunch and at first glance thought the menu was limited. Turned out not to be the case. Excellent food and service. We could see why it got a Michelin mention. We will return for dinner. Highly recommend
