A pursuit for knowledge was the stimulus and continues to be the driving force behind Chef Niven’s career. Ghee means PURE and has a symbolic meaning both spiritually and in the kitchen of an Indian home. The restaurant encompass traditional Indian home cooking, ingredient driven using local artisan purveyors. Chef Niven highlights the experience of dining at Ghee: "I want to my guests to walk into Ghee with the sense of entering my home. I want them to feel at home. I want them to smell the aromas and spices and get more engaged in their meal. One of the things that I always tell my cooks is, ask questions, be inquisitive if you don’t know. I want the same for my guests."

We have been wanting to go to Ghee for several years (since they were on NE 2nd Ave) and finally got to visit. Ou server Mariam was excellent, she walked us thru the menu, explained about the level of spiciness of the dishes. we started with Green Papaya Salad and the Lamb Keheema Scotch Egg. Both were delicious, accompanied them with Garlic Naam. Foe entree the Turmeric Marinated Fish Curry and the Vindaloo Pork Meatballs. Excellent choices and the sauces with the Nam were phenomenal. I found both spicy but not hot. For dessert had the Kheer (rice pudding) with the strawberries on the side. Not an extensive wine list, but nice selections. we had a light bodied Barbera which complimented the meal nicely

Overall, good place. Good tasted excellent. Presentation was great and the overall ambience was good. Service was great to begin with l, but struggled a little when the place filled up. Probably 1 additional staff? Overall enjoyed it.

Food was flavorful, delightful. Service was outstanding. Suggest getting a liquor license to be able to serve different drinks to complement the meals.

One of my favorite restaurants in Miami. The only issue I had was that the food was not as spicy as before. The server was kindly enough to bring over their spicy/hot house sauce.

I have said it before, but every time we visit Ghee, the food is always amazing. Let me tell you about the meal we had on Fathers Day. We had three small plates and one main course and all were delicious. The service is always A+. If you have never had a meal here, it's time you visit them. You will not be disappointed.

Everything we had wax spectacular. From the lamb Scotch egg appetizer to the Tikka masala… we look forward to going back (chairs hiwever are very uncomfortable but worth the uncomfort for the amazing food!

We enjoyed most of the dishes we ordered. Some were what we expected, others weren't because they didn't have what we think of as Indian flavors. Some of the dishes were very salty and afterward we kept drinking water.
