Absolutely delightful! I recently dined at this restaurant and was extremely satisfied. Despite the menu offering a wide range of international dishes, I was particularly impressed by the quality and authenticity of the local dishes. Each course was a journey through traditional flavors, prepared with fresh ingredients and served with care. The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff is friendly, professional, and always ready to meet any request with a smile. I truly felt pampered and welcomed, a rare and precious experience. The restaurant's atmosphere is equally delightful. The decor is meticulously detailed, creating a cozy and refined environment that makes every moment spent here truly enjoyable. It's the perfect place for a romantic dinner, a gathering with friends, or a special evening. In summary, I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants to enjoy high-quality local dishes, exceptional service, and relax in a charming atmosphere. I can't wait to return!

What a find!! This is an excellent local restaurant - I think we were the only tourists in the evening we went. Really lovely food, wide ranging menu and excellent local wine and service. Highly recommend this local gem

We were excited to go to this cafe, recommended in the Rick Steves guidebook on Budapest . It did not disappoint. In fact, what we saw on line was in fact on the menu. From local specialties to coq au vin and grilled salmon (I am a fish eater), everything was flavorful and perfect for our party of 4. We shared a fresh and flavorful salad and other appetizers and each one of us had a different and delicious entree. Four wonderful desserts. It was hard to choose among all the wonderful things, but I loved the mango macaron, about 1 1/2 inches in diameter, split, and filled generously with a mango flavored creme. Heaven on earth. We couldn’t get a taxi that night, got lost, but thanks to a local pharmacist who drew a map for us, we arrived late. Warmly welcomed by the host and many servers, they made us feel special and welcome. Gerlóczy has a very nice outdoor spot. We chose a table inside and enjoyed the comfortable room and large windows.

El restaurante esta en un rincón muy acogedor, nos encantó. La comida y el trato estupendo. Nos gustó mucho.

We re ally enjoyed our dinner. The food was outstanding, but when we ordered a second glass of wine, we had to wait an inordinate amount of time. It seemed as if there were enough waiters. We ate outside, and it was really lovely. My cousin loved the coq au vin. We all shared the Somloyi Galushka, an incredible dessert make of a light textured cake, whipped cream and an incredible dark chocolate sauce. .It is one of my favorite desserts, and Gerloczy’s was one of the best I’ve tasted. The cafe is located on the corner of a quiet little plaza filled with beautiful trees and flowering shrubs. All in all a really nice experience and I would definitely rely go back

This was a real find! Beautiful atmospheric restaurant and exceptional quality food and delicious Hungarian wine. The Maitre D, Caaba, was very knowledgable and friendly. We were not rushed at all and thoroughly enjoyed our evening here. Would highly recommend

Cozy cafe located in a quiet zone of town. Proprietor and staff were very helpful in selecting dishes and wines. Food was excellent! Atmosphere was also conducive to a relaxing evening.
