We visited for the first time and were extremely satisfied with the food, drinks, service, and ambiance. Our server, Alfred, was great. He made recommendations and answered our questions. The entire staff was great, and our experience was amazing.

Walking in, you're immediately enveloped by a warm, welcoming atmosphere that sets the stage for what you hope will be a memorable meal. The service was attentive, and the staff ensured we were comfortable throughout our visit. The menu offers an array of classic steakhouse dishes, alongside some inventive sides and starters. When it comes to the food, most of the dishes we tried were quite good. The starters were delightful, and the sides complemented the meal well. However, the highlight of the experience—the steak—left us wanting more. Cooked to perfection, the steak had the ideal texture and juiciness, but unfortunately lacked in flavor. For a steakhouse, one expects the steak to be the star, bursting with seasoning and taste that justifies the premium price. Regrettably, it fell short in this regard. Overall, Georgia James has a lot going for it with its fantastic ambience and generally good menu offerings. However, when it comes to the steak, there's room for improvement to meet the expectations set by its reputation and pricing. With a bit more attention to flavor, this steakhouse could easily become a top choice for steak lovers

our food was great wish the plate my steak came on was a little hotter steak was a little on the colder side, king crab legs were amazing tho, but the dining was a bit odd. we sat all alone in the kitchen area. the other side of the restaurant was full. seemed weird it was not even a private dining experience.

Very good service. Very expensive for the quality of the food. Steak was just mediocre at best.

Great food and service! They had us sit outside with the band playing and the temperature was nice, overall good energy and vibes !!

Really enjoyed our meal. Steaks were top notch. Service from Ivan was excellent. It's a bit expensive so not an everyday experience but if you have a special occasion or want to treat yourself, you'll enjoy it

Ivan, our server, was great. He gave great suggestions and was engaging. It also great to see the teamwork among the staff. The food was excellent as always. The best steak restaurant in Houston. Not even close!
