Join us at our third George’s Place location in Cape May’s Washington Commons. Serving up the same menu you know and love from our original beachfront location, this convenient new breakfast, lunch, and dinner spot is the perfect place to grab a quick bite while shopping. We are BYOB and Cash Only. There is a $15 per person charge for breakfast/lunch and a $35 per person charge for dinner for a no-show on your reservations.

Where did the George's Place tradition get its start? In 2002, Yianni Karapanagiotis transformed what was once a quaint corner diner serving breakfast & window-service lunch into a local legend for Cape May locals and visitors alike. The cornerstone of the Kara Restaurant Group collection, George’s Place is now known worldwide thanks to a visit from Guy Fieri & Diners, Drive-Ins, and Dives, but remains committed to providing the community with fresh & flavorful food, plentiful portions, and fair prices throughout the year.

George’s always has a wonderful breakfast, the staff is very friendly and attentive.

The staff at George’s is fabulous. We showed up for our reservation at 7 30, on time. We were seated at 8 because there was a family group who had been there since 5 45 and were still there at 8!!! Their kids were on their phones for most of the time according to the server. Thoughtless, inconsiderate people!! The staff were so kind to us, apologizing and offering to serve our wine while we waited. After dinner, we received a dessert on the house for the inconvenience. 💕 We really weren’t upset about the delay, just the fact that those terrible upset the servers. When we got our dinners, they were fabulous. Chicken Santorini, Tuna, and the most delicious Lobster Bisque ever!!! 💕

Splendid Greek food! We each had the house Greek salad and shared the Spanakopita. The servings of each were quit large so we took somehome. I had the Six Pepper Tuna which was delicious despite the low position on the menu. The top of the large piece of Shashimi tuna was covered with ground pepper. Not too hot but the pepper flavors were dominent. My wife enjoyed the lamb chops which were tiny chops on the end of a bone. Delicious! The service was wonderful. We could see the kitchen but it was not noisy nor was a bridal party group of 7 seated not far away.

Food and service were both very good. The only area that hurt them was dessert. We ordered carrot cake The slice of cake was small and rather tasteless. Very thin icing layer. No signs of any carrots. The cake was $12.00. Not worth anything near that amount very disappointing way to finish a great meal. Still cash only so for two people you will need at least $80.

we had a very lovely server, we met the owner and the chef from Bryne and had a lovely conversation they dress their salads to perfection. I had the Branz we had the grilled chilled octopus salad and the chilled tuna salad that was fabulous and the lamb chops were just perfectly cooked. Excellent Caesar dressing.
