Come grab a cool Hawaiian beer, fresh seafood, unique Hawaiian-Japanese fusion food on the rooftop lanai, and enjoy an "Aloha" experience with our friendly staff!

Genius Lounge is established in 2009, is a full service bar restaurant serving Japanese inspired Hawaiian dishes. We were selected 2022 & 2023 OpenTable Diners' Choice Restaurant.

Our menus are created by Japanese experienced chef Taiga Sasahara, using Hawaiian ingredients throughout our dishes.

We have some famous Hawaiian items; Sushi, Fresh seafoods, Steaks, Salads, Pizzas, and Original homemade noodle dishes!!!

You can pair those items with our extensive drink menu such as Sakes, Wines, and a lot of original cocktails!

It is perfect a place to enjoy a low key night with friends or a romantic date in the heart of Waikiki.

We also accomodate private parties. We have a quaint private lanai space and 3 party courses for your private party. It is also a perfect place to enjoy your wedding party in the heart of Waikiki.

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PLACE! Will definitely come back again. The service was phenomenal! The karage chicken & hot pot loco moco… OMG! Sooooo good! Happy hour was good priced! What an amazing hidden gem in waikiki!

Genius Lounge is a hidden gem in Waikiki! The food was absolutely delicious, with fresh ingredients and amazing flavors. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing evening. The service was friendly and attentive, making our dining experience even better. Highly recommend!

店員さんがアットホームで素敵でした。ヒルトンの花火が見えるテラス席を準備してくださり、雰囲気もボリュームも満足できました。他のお店よりも遅くまでハッピーアワーメニューをやってましたのでお得に食事ができました。立地もよく、とにかく気さくな店員さんが多いので安心して楽しめるお店だと思います。

One of Waikīkī faves! Great food, super nice staff, and it’s just so comfortable and chill! Also, I don’t drink alcohol and they have Asahi zero proof beer - delicious!

Great food for a group of 5. Atmosphere for outdoor seating was excellent. Service was responsive. Japanese-fusion food was delicious, and well prepared and seasoned. We enjoyed eating everything family style. Compliments from everyone in the party.

Spectacular New Year dinner - started with amazing host Gina Sandra thru the wait staff. We ordered the surf and turf. The appetizer was the oysters, which were seasoned and prepared to perfection. Also enjoyed the sake sampler. Gotta say again - best staff and meal on Waikiki and we live on Oahu. Genius Lounge is proof the non-chain restaurants can’t compete with personal service. Finally, the ambiance was amazing and decor was lovely with a surf & holiday vibe. 10 out of 10 in every category. Mahalo and as Arnold says “I’ll be back”! Happy new year to the professionals at Genius Lounge
