Le General Warren est un Bed & Breakfast ainsi qu'un restaurant servant une cuisine américaine continentale dans un bâtiment historique construit en 1745 avec une touche de style contemporain. Les membres du personnel de l'établissement préparent les spécialités du menu directement à votre table à l'heure de souper en offrant également un service très attentionné dans une pièce éclairée de bougies et réchauffée grâce à différents foyers. On y retrouve aussi la taverne "The Warren Tavern" qui met en vedette un menu à bas prix ainsi qu'un menu complet, tout cela disponible sans réservation. Les Happy Hour se déroulent entre 16h30 et 18h30 du lundi au vendredi. Vous pourrez commander une bière à moitié prix, un verre de vin à 5 USD ou obtenir 2 USD de rabais sur toutes les autres boissons pour adultes. Les prix sont également réduits sur certains éléments du menu de nourriture Happy Hour. Un bar complet et une liste de vins internationaux vous sont proposés dans cet établissement. Vous avez la possibilité de déguster votre repas en plein air sur la terrasse du restaurant "The Springhouse Terrasse" et ce, durant toute l'année. Waitress was great (Ina - sorry for spelling). She was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. Food was good but not as good as we expected. I got the turtle soup and the Beef Wellington, which was good but this is their specialty and I’ve had better. My wife had the salmon and it could have been hotter. The ambiance is exceptional - very elegant dining room and view out the window was lovely.

Lamb ragout was excellent. Service was great. We chose this restaurant because the noise level was not high eliminating the need to shout across table to have a conversation.

Always a lovely destination. A little off the 'beaten path' but GPS guides you there. It is a lovely setting - it is easy to see why it is so popular for weddings and parties. We were seated promptly in a quiet room; the ambiance is calm and beautiful. Our server, Collin, was attentive and polite without being intrusive. The 'food runners' were genuinely nice, too. Surprisingly, the food did not quite match expectations compared to prior visits. Some items such as the Caesar Salad, Snapper Soup, Steak au Poivre and Branzino were very good. The Tartine Appetizer was interesting but dry. The crabcakes were disappointing - very dry and bready without much crab. The sides (rice and shaved Brussel sprouts) were good. We enjoyed two delicious desserts - Creme Brule and Cherry Galette with vanilla ice cream. We enjoyed celebrating a special birthday in this lovely setting and will certainly return. Thank you!
