Oxford’s iconic glasshouse and stunning terrace remains loyal to its traditions of providing quality food & service in the most beautiful restaurant in Oxford.

Free parking for two hours is available just a short walk away on Canterbury Road and Bevington Road.

Our kitchen features a wood fired oven & charcoal grill, ingredients are simply prepared and expertly cooked. Open every day from 09.00am until 10.30pm serving our all day menu, on Sunday we also offer a roast. Please feel welcome to just drop by for a glass or two in our new secret garden.

Expect a warm welcome and great food served by knowledgeable & friendly waiters.

A celebratory buzz fills the air of Oxford’s most unique & beautiful restaurant Gees, an enchanting setting in which to host your festive gathering. As always Gees is open throughout December serving our Christmas Party Menu which is available from 20th November to 24th December, and can only be booked in advance for parties of 6+ guests. Our events team will contact you to arrange a pre order.

Have been coming to Gee’s for 30 years; this was the worst food and the worst service we have ever experienced. Soggy zucchini frites, tasteless pasta, indifferent aubergine parmigiana and all very slow.

The setting is lovely but they are very understaffed. As a result the experience doesn’t match the price you pay nor the service charge on higher priced good with not commensurate service due to the poor waiters having to attend to too many tables.

Our waiter was lovely! Went above and beyond for us. Food was delish. Setting was lovely. My new favourite spot!

Overall very enjoyable. Service was less attentive than usual and were rather rushed so we had to keep calling/ reminding the service staff about items we wanted. On the whole the food very good. Restaurant crowded and noisy however it was a Saturday evening!

Gees has always been a unique dining experience. The team are friendly and the food is amazing ! Wonderful place to eat and enjoy good company.

Small portions for the price. Very over priced for the quality of the food but nice enough setting. Service was slow.

Gees was recommended to us and it certainly did not disappoint. The food, staff and atmosphere were really great. Not particularly cheap but, like most good things, you get what you pay for. Would definitely recommend

Visiting my son and staying nearby, booked Gee's for a late lunch on Saturday. Overall experience was okay, as it was busy and has a warm atmosphere; however the food was really disappointing. The scallops were overcooked and looked unattractive, oysters were pretty average. The hake on a bed of beans was kind of tasteless and the burger was so dry! It's a nice and pretty place to meet up with family and friends for drinks maybe, I would not recommend it to people who's expecting good food.
