Oxford’s iconic glasshouse and stunning terrace remains loyal to its traditions of providing quality food & service in the most beautiful restaurant in Oxford.

Free parking for two hours is available just a short walk away on Canterbury Road and Bevington Road.

Our kitchen features a wood fired oven & charcoal grill, ingredients are simply prepared and expertly cooked. Open every day from 09.00am until 10.30pm serving our all day menu, on Sunday we also offer a roast. Please feel welcome to just drop by for a glass or two in our new secret garden.

Expect a warm welcome and great food served by knowledgeable & friendly waiters.

My wife and I have been to Gees a few times over the past couple of years and it’s consistently good with the prices being reasonable with a nice ambience and good service. We started with oysters before starters of black spaghetti with prawns for my wife and I had watermelon with cottage cheese and mint. Both dishes were delicious. Our mains were the steak and the Gees burger and both were good without being outstanding, however little things irked us a bit like having to ask for accompanying condiments and sauces which would normally be offered. We also had a couple of dishes that were unavailable like the steak salad that my wife ordered only to be told a few minutes later that they had run out. I think it would have been better to have told us up front what wasn’t available, other than these minor gripes we had another lovely meal and will return again as we love the conservatory setting and the location.

We came to Gees to celebrate our anniversary which is a tradition of ours. Although the weather wasn’t great (we usually love sitting outside) inside the vibe was great and was a really nice place to be. Our server Ana was amazing (we always have great service) but was attentive and allowed us to order at our own pace and enjoyment. The food and wine was delicious we can’t wait for the next excuse to go again!!

Inventive menu but the food didn't meet expectations. It was ok but for the price should have been better.

Compared to other occasions this time the food was surprisingly bland… my party of 5 was not too enthusiastic

Great experience all round. Our 9 year old son was happy in the evening environment and enjoyed his food. The service staff were attentive but not overbearing and were friendly. The food was amazing. We were celebrating my wife's birthday and the whole experience perfectly fitted the occasion.

Always love dining at Gee’s- my favourite restaurant in Oxford. The staff is attentive and nothing seems to be an effort. Love Love Love this place 💙💛

As ever, an evening at Gees is hugely enjoyable. Staff are welcoming and helpful. The menu enticing. The food delicious. And the house wine just what I like!
