Join us this Valentine's Day for a romantic evening set in candlelight with cocktails, finest wines and Latin inspired dishes. Looking for something extra special, our Valentine's menu for £55pp including a bottle of wine is perfect to share. For starters dive into a Black Truffle and Mushroom Fugazetta (a decadent Argentinian-style pizza), for mains choose from our top cuts of steak plus sides, and to end on a sweet note we have a delicious berry-laden Mille Feuille with Chantilly cream.

Gaucho is now the custodian of a painstakingly restored Grade II-listed building on Pilgrim Street, blending a sophisticated elegance with industrial elements, reflecting the city’s legacy for impeccable craftsmanship. With a sweeping centrepiece bar that’s perfect for early evening drinks and a wide-plan restaurant with an open kitchen, it will become the restaurant to see and be seen in this great city.

The server was amazing and really attentive so that was a bonus. However, for the price we paid for food and drinks I’ve had better steak elsewhere which was a shame.

An excellent dining experience from the time we entered till we left. Service was brilliant and food was quick to arrive and amazing.

I have been to lots of restaurants in Newcastle … service was slow it was so expensive we booked for the restaurant week with the set menu but was not available when we were there … if you have loads of money go but please stay away if not .,, there are loads of other restaurants to go to in Newcastle…we had a burger and chicken they were just ok and the £16 service charge a joke

Been in today with my daughter for lunch place is spotless service was great and the food tremendous top marks from me will definitely be back we used a code online and got a free meal for two but looking at the same menu if we had to pay was still very reasonably priced
