Looking for something extra special, our Valentine's menu for £55pp including a bottle of wine is perfect to share. For starters dive into a Black Truffle and Mushroom Fugazetta (a decadent Argentinian-style pizza), for mains choose from our top cuts of steak plus sides, and to end on a sweet note we have a delicious berry-laden Mille Feuille with Chantilly cream.

Gaucho is now the custodian of a painstakingly restored Grade II-listed building on Pilgrim Street, blending a sophisticated elegance with industrial elements, reflecting the city’s legacy for impeccable craftsmanship. Came here for restaurant week and had a fantastic experience. Great menu for us, we got both starters, two different cuts of steak which were served with chips or veg, we went for the chips and it also came with a chimichurri sauce, a baked cheese cake and chocolate brownie for dessert. Steaks were cooked well and flavoursome. We enjoyed the whole meal and will definitely return to try the Al la cart menu in the near future.

We had the restaurant week menu. It was great value for price. The starters, steaks and the basque cheesecake were fantastic. We also had the chimichurri margarita which was wonderful. Our waiter, Angela (or Angelica?) was really attentive and lovely. The only teeny tiny negative I could mention is the choice of roast veg was a bit strange. It consisted of roast bits of carrot and squash. A bit odd pairing with steak. Other than that, wonderful meal. Will definitely come back.

Unfortunately having ordered a medium rare rump steak I got an extremely rare ( blue) rump steak.. they reheated it, no money taken off for the inconvenience and I my gut is suffering as a result last night and this morning 😟.. despite not offering me any recompense for spoiling the overall eating together experience they still added 12.5% service charge to the bill The waitresses were very good tho not keen on leaving the tap water on the table for us .

We tried the set Long Lunch and it was excellent. The food was delicious, ceviche, a scallop, poached egg a perfectly grilled steak and a fabulous pannacota and the £55 price included a glass of Chandon on arrival which was delightful and a Malbec cocktail to finish! The service was great, nice surroundings and we will certainly visit again.

We took a January offer and so had an exceptional deal. We ordered starters and mains from the lunch menu and dessert from the main menu. The food was cooked perfectly and very well presented. The service was excellent; the waiter gave us some good advice about the main course, which helped. He was well-informed about the menu and knew enough to give good advice. We will go again and plan a trip soon.
