Amazing, fantastic food and service. Starter, main, side and dessert were lovely. Empanadas, tacos, ribeye steak, chocolate torte, cheesecake were all great.

We were seated in the basement.Couldn’t see daylight.Basement was almost empty but was seated next to a large noisy crowd asked to be moved .Was then seated in between two other couples when the rest of the basement was empty. Was disappointed with the whole experience.Food was good .Had to keep asking the waiter for drinks & to put our coats in the clock room . Would never return .

Steaks were very slightly overcooked, not enough to complain or spoil our dinner. Very tasty.

Good and service was excellent. Only downsides were; (1) very dark (lighting really poor), a phone torch required to read the menus! (2) the availability of wine was poor, out choices were either sold out or only 1 bottle, so when we wanted a second bottle not available, more availability of the lower priced red wines required.

We had a wonderful lunch here yesterday where everything was just faultless. We were greated by a friendly hostess who was extremely kind especially towards my Mother with mobility issues by making sure she was comfortable and instinctively offering a helping hand which was very much appreciated. The waiting staff were equally as friendly and attentive too and made us feel very welcome. We ordered from the winter lunch set menu with 2 courses for £19.50 and was blown away by the quality of the food. We both ordered the cuadril steak which was cooked just to our liking and was melt in the mouth. The chimichuri sauce elevated its taste even more and was utterly divine and the chips and side salads were equally as tasty. The food was also presented very nicely and left us completely satisfied, so much so that we didn't have any room left for dessert! Thank you very much Gaucho Covent Garden for a lovely afternoon- we can't wait to visit again soon.
