Thank-you for choosing Gaucho, Calgary’s only authentic Churrascaria- Brazilian Barbecue. Gaucho is inspired by the dynamic and rich cultural heritage of the Brazilian cowboy, the time honored tradition of Churrasco (barbecue) and Rodizio (round-about) service. Rodizio dining is like nothing you’ve tried before. To do it properly, budget an evening – or at least a few hours – and come hungry! Your barbecue chef of the evening will come around with massive churrasco-style skewers, each with a tender cut-of-the-day. Great Experience and wonderful opportunity to taste a variety of meats. I prefer more of a self serve style Side Dish Section as that way you do not feel limited and can take as much or little variety as you like but without having to have the hostess order your sides for you. Overall great Dining Experience, Great Selection and wonderful variety for both food and drink

Our first time at Gaucho. We came because it was our son’s 18th Birthday and he’s a big fan of beef. My husband and I have been to other Brazilian Bbq places, and so far this has been our favorite experience. The meat was delicious. The sides were so delicious. Stephen our waiter was attentive, knowledgeable and lovely to chat with. Will definitely be coming back. In fact our 12yr old son told us, his plan is to re-create our Gaucho experience, because he wants to come for his 18th birthday now too.

Service was excellent, food was great. The atmosphere was amazing, we will definitely be back. The new dessert listed on the menu was top notch.

This was my second time and again a fantastic experience food was fabulous. Stephen was wonderful very attentive. Had a great recommendation and the cocktails were over the moon delirious. This is hands-down, my favourite restaurant and will continue to go and support the business.

Greeting us to our table, sitting there for at least 10mins for my server coming to the table. The beef is dry, salty. Not really enjoy our first dinner in 2025.

Went to Gauchos for New Years Eve dinner. Hadn’t been here in a few years. Food and service was great. They did however charge $110 instead of their standard $68. The only difference was shrimp and seafood soup that was notable. Hardly worth the extra $42 per person. Overall the food and service was great. Totally worth the $68 (without shrimp and seafood soup) but definitely not worth the inflated New Years Eve price. I would come back again but not for any specials they are having if they are going to price-gouge. Felt a bit ripped off even though the food and service was great. Felt like it was an excuse to charge that much extra because it was NYE which is too bad. Why I gave the value rating so low.

We came as a party of 8 adults and 1 toddler. Overall we did have a great experience and we thought the meat rotation was quick. I’d say service fell short closer to when we were finished. My brother still wanted meat, specifically the ribs and we had told the server more than once and we were assured that the ribs were called but it never came. The server apologized towards the end. Though it’s appreciated that little tidbit was annoying considering we also couldn’t change the tip amount due to the expected gratuity for over 6 party.
