Thank-you for choosing Gaucho, Calgary’s only authentic Churrascaria- Brazilian Barbecue. Gaucho is inspired by the dynamic and rich cultural heritage of the Brazilian cowboy, the time honored tradition of Churrasco (barbecue) and Rodizio (round-about) service. Rodizio dining is like nothing you’ve tried before. To do it properly, budget an evening – or at least a few hours – and come hungry! Your barbecue chef of the evening will come around with massive churrasco-style skewers, each with a tender cut-of-the-day. Greeting us to our table, sitting there for at least 10mins for my server coming to the table. The beef is dry, salty. Not really enjoy our first dinner in 2025.

Went to Gauchos for New Years Eve dinner. Hadn’t been here in a few years. Food and service was great. They did however charge $110 instead of their standard $68. The only difference was shrimp and seafood soup that was notable. Hardly worth the extra $42 per person. Overall the food and service was great. Totally worth the $68 (without shrimp and seafood soup) but definitely not worth the inflated New Years Eve price. I would come back again but not for any specials they are having if they are going to price-gouge. Felt a bit ripped off even though the food and service was great. Felt like it was an excuse to charge that much extra because it was NYE which is too bad. Why I gave the value rating so low.

We came as a party of 8 adults and 1 toddler. Overall we did have a great experience and we thought the meat rotation was quick. I’d say service fell short closer to when we were finished. My brother still wanted meat, specifically the ribs and we had told the server more than once and we were assured that the ribs were called but it never came. The server apologized towards the end. Though it’s appreciated that little tidbit was annoying considering we also couldn’t change the tip amount due to the expected gratuity for over 6 party.

It was our server's 3rd day of work but you would have never guessed, she was knowledgeable, attentive and provided amazing service. She was asked to choose salad and drinks that she felt we would like and the bartender even came right to the table to prepare one of the Applewood smoked drinks. Highly recommend that you try one! The meat just never stops and all of the sides/salads were brought out fresh and very tasty. A bit more than we would usually spend on a restaurant visit but definitely worth it.

It’s been a while since we’ve gone for lunch and our first experience at the new location. Still amazing! Great food as always, love all the new drink options - so fun!!

Maybe due to the Christmas rush seemed our waitress was wore out, almost seemed she was filling in to help with the busy season. Our waitress was very unprofessional and incompetent, was never around when needed. It was difficult to order apts, sides and salads. Seemed she couldn’t remember more than one item at a time, We pretty much gave up and started ordering the meat. The selection was very limited, they didn’t have hardly half of what’s on the menu and one variety of sausage was extremely salty. I could go on, very disappointing, barely 1 star! I should have tipped accordingly but it was close to Christmas and I felt sorry for the waitress as she obviously was burnt out, seemed she was working to survive so I tipped way more the deserved! I would not go back, very disappointed!
