Several plusses but a few minuses as well. The dinner rolls were divine!! Most appetizers were great but the calamari (usually my fave) was such a let down. The texture was awesome but the actual taste was disappointingly bland and somewhat "egg-y." Crab cake was raved about and the burrata was pretty good. I had the halibut (catch of the day) and my partner got the 8oz strip. Neither was a hit. But others at the table had Branzino, Salmon and Chicken and those got rave reviews. Inside is pretty dark (speakeasy vibe) and due to the location of our table, the beautiful waterfront view was obscured. That too was a letdown b/c ambiance as a big part of why we chose this restaurant. I'll try again w/ a smaller group so that we can take advantage of the view.

Always a wonderful experience at Gatsby's Landing - Roslyn. The food is exceptional and extremely fresh. The only thing better than the food is the service.

We had a lovely dinner here for our anniversary. The food, service, ambiance - everything - was excellent. Our waiter was awesome. Because I must have indicated on the reservation that it was our anniversary, the waiter brought over a sparkler and insisted that we have dessert on them. We will definitely go back.

The manager Tom really understands that many restaurants have good food, but the great restaurants have great management and that’s what Tom has managed to since he took over here eight months ago. In addition the food that I had was fantastic fried artichokes very unusually done and the upside down eggplant was fantastic with the gently fried mozzarella a wonderful experience.

The brick chicken was nothing special...nor was the broccolini that came with it. They were very slow to bring rolls. Perhaps it was a new server, not sure. Lovely atmosphere and water view, but I would personally not return for the food. The manager was gracious, but the meal felt very off. My husband had the branzino and said it had little taste. We honestly expected much better food.

I had dinner here before and enjoyed the meal, and decided to try their brunch. Gatsby’s landing is a lovely place, with a great staff that are very attentive and the food is good. Had a lovely no rushed brunch with a lovely view. I did enjoy the dinner menu more than brunch, overall a lovely neighborhood restaurant.

We recommend the roasted beet salad & the mussels which had a very good broth. Salad was big enough to feed 2-3 people Sat outside which was nice since we were covered by awning & it was raining. Staff is very friendly & attentive

Everyone was very friendly upon arrival! My partner and I arrived ahead of another couple but we were still seated. The booths are very very comfortable and private. The dining area in the back room overlooks the lake which is very very pretty. The manager came over within minutes and introduced himself and we had a lovely conversation. He is very attentive. You can tell he loves his position. He is respectful to the staff and even helps out in a pinch. The bake clams were perfect. Small and not too much breadcrumbs. The grilled octopus and chorizo is fabulous has a nice smoky/spicy flavor. Everywhere else it's just grilled on a bed of peppers Matteo was our waiter and he too was very attentive to all of our requests. We were not hurried or rushed at any point in time. It was a lovely evening! I highly recommend it and I will definitely be back.
