Gather in Omaha is an epic dining experience. Once inside our historic urban-chic setting, modern eclectic cuisine awaits as our chefs prepare dishes from our year-round hydroponic farm. Guests can enjoy artisan-inspired drinks on our outdoor patios or at our craftsman-style bar, right in the heart of the historic Old Market.

Gather in Omaha is the first and only restaurant in town to offer an on-site hydroponic vertical farm with fresh produce, greens, and herbs, all hand-picked daily by our culinary team.

*We will only hold your table 10 min beyond your reservation time and your table will be released. All "no-show" reservations and cancellations made within 6 hours of reservation for parties of 6 or less or 12 hours for 6 or more, will be CHARGED $25/person.

Enjoy our specially designed prix fixe NYE menu and say good-bye to 2024 with the Gather in Omaha family. We'll be serving a 4-course meal with items featuring the freshest organic herbs and produce grown right downstairs at Gather Urban Farm. Entree options include Chimichurri Flatiron Steak, Pan Seared Duck, Espresso-Rubbed Pork Shoulder, Grilled Black Bass, and a Miso Hand-Made Tagliatelle Pasta with Grilled Shrimp. Of course, our signature Crispy Brussels and Pork Buns will also be available a la carte to add to your dining experience. $85 per person (drinks, tax, gratuity additional). Zac Triemert, founder of Lucky Bucket & Brickway will discuss the company histories and products We want to be responsible, so while the Basil-Tini is a full cocktail, please note that each beer pour will be 6 oz and the Whiskey will be 1 oz. We were greeted and seated promptly. Our drinks and appetizer came out quickly so we had time to think about what to order. The menu is pretty progressive for Omaha (tartare, elk, several inventive vegetable sides) but many items are sweet—cranberries in a salad with sweet salad dressing, honey in the carrots, etc. Not a fan. The tartare I ordered was missing the sharpness of the promised mustard. The egg was hard cooked so I was unable to mix it in to the meat. The dish wasn’t bad but tartare is a classic that shouldn’t be messed with IMHO. My companions had fried chicken and Brussels sprouts and they came out hot, crispy, and delicious. Shout out for the fresh anchovies on the Caesar. Our server was friendly and efficient but never came back to refill our wine glasses—a small gesture we would have appreciated. Overall it was a good experience and we will come back to try the menu items we missed this time around.

We had high expectations for Gather but were sadly disappointed. The server was not very attentive. She appeared more attentive to the larger parties seated near us. We ordered drinks when we were seated, but waited to get our drinks while we watched our server take orders at a larger party before she even put our drink order in. We had to seek our server out several times, she did not check in on her own. The food was ok. The experience overall was disappointing. I have had better service at counter service fast food places. I would not recommend this restaurant. The service was not commensurate with the cost of the marginal tasting food.

Having not eaten here before I wasn’t sure what to expect. We were a party of four and everyone loved what they ordered. Definitely exceeded my expectations. We will be back.

When we first came in we were greeted and invited to wait and look at the in restaurant garden, the staff was friendly, the food was delicious, and the ambiance was wonderful. Will be telling friends about this place and dreaming of the elk bolognese!!

Food was inconsistent. Wagyu were sliced and served first. Very rare. Should have sat for the juices. Apps were good. Pasta was under cooked and sauce was over reduced. Bread pudding was good. Dessert special was gummy

We never need an excuse to visit Gather. However, our latest visit was intentional to try their limited-time specials advertised on social media (Facebook and Instagram). A dining experience at Gather is incomplete without starting with the Brussels sprouts appetizer. It is hands-down our favorite! Our meal was accompanied by their limited-time specialty drink, Penicillin Cocktail. I am not a scotch drinker but let me tell you, this beverage was smooth and delicious! We ordered the limited-time special Miso Shrimp Tagliatelle and the short ribs for entrees. I almost always order the short ribs when dining at Gather but the Miso Shrimp was AMAZING! I highly suggest adding it to the regular menu! For dessert, we had the limited-time special Chocolate Tart. It perfectly blended bitter dark chocolate crust with sweet blueberry compote and vanilla-almond custard. Hillary was our server (we always request her when we visit). She is knowledgeable, attentive, and has a great personality! Per usual... we will be back!
