Had an awesome time at Gas Lamp. The ambient was very nice, service was amazing and the food was great. 100% recommend for a special occasion.

I cannot commend this place enough. The food was awesome. The service was great and the ambiance was perfect . If you go here , you need to order the French laundry . The experience and presentation was everything. The drinks are top tier as well. Ask for Jory at the counter seating area , this guy will take care of you .

Fantastic as always just wish it wasn’t so expensive! $190 or $95 per person for a steak still hurts, but at least not disappointing.

A friend recommended I take my wife to Gaslamp for her birthday and that she'd love it. We both did! Great atmosphere, food and service!!!

Four of us had an early dinner and we could not rave more. The chop salad was delicious. I had the signature dish which is a large bone in steak. Might be the best meat I have ever had. We also had lobster, truffle risotto and mashed potatoes. All outstanding. Mixed drinks could not have been better. Overall wonderful dining experience.

Our bartender server was great! The food and drinks were amazing. We found a hidden gem on the island definitely our favorite place so far!

We have been here several times. And we do enjoy it. You are definitely paying for the ambience, not so much for the food. The mystery of the "secret pass phrase" is a lot of fun with the members of your party. The silhouette of the live sax player is wonderful (too bad he's perched up so high and doesn't have a tip jar on the ground floor, which he deserves). The food is nicely presented. Service is excellent. But it's very expensive. It's not a good value. There are better choices (better flavor and prices) elsewhere (e.g., The Cutlery in Kaimuki. The interior is beautiful. It is very dark, but that adds to the mystery and secrecy. I'd recommend this for a first date (because it's different and has a romantic feel), but if you're looking for good flavor and good value, there are better options elsewhere. The price shown on the menu are cash prices. If paying with a card, there's an upcharge.

It's pricey, but I'm never disappointed in the good, service, or ambiance. It's remained my go-to spot for really special occasions in island all 4-5 years that I've lived here. I'm always blown away at how good the food and drinks are, and they are really good about doing something special for you for special occasions. Highly recommend.
