Made a reservation months ago and wanted a four top in the cozy cabin area and hostess said they were saving the 4 tops for couples only (we had a party of 4). I asked twice about it but to no avail. So we were seated in a larger area near the bar that felt like a Luby’s cafeteria. Of course when I left I observed numerous parties of 4 seated at the cozy cabin 4 tops they we supposedly reserving for couples only. Also had fried shrimp as an appetizer. Pretty sure if was frozen. Was horrible. Overall very disappointed and won’t be back.

Prime rib was tough, overcooked (I don’t think it was medium rare, as requested), & the salmon was a bit “fishy,” however; the soup, salad, and dessert were excellent. The waitperson was great! The restaurant was dark and drafty. I just don’t think we will go back.

Great experience. The food was fabulous and the staff was very attentive. The steak was cooked to perfection and the shrimp scampi was some of the best we’ve ever had.

Awesome. Must go. Great steaks. I highly recommend you go to Gaskins Cabin when in Eureka Springs.

Good food overall, love the setting and charm. We dined on NYE for our anniversary, and I put that on our reservation as well, however it went unacknowledged while we were there. We had the bone marrow to start and the crostinis were so salty, that we couldn’t eat them. We used the delicious bread instead to eat the marrow. I had an aperol spritz which was delicious and a cosmo which was also very good. Our Steaks came out but the waitress did not ask us to cut in and check them, and mine was more rare than I preferred in the center. I had blue cheese on top of my filet and it was very good, albeit a bit too much. We had the mushroom soup which was also very very good. We both did baked potatoes as the side which were fine, and shared a side of shrimp scampi which was also fine. Overall a visually pleasing dinner with a great atmosphere but value for price and the lack of engagement via the staff leaves it a miss on the mark for us.
