It is a beautiful restaurant . Beautiful and pleasant staff, we ordered a cocktail salad, prime rib, filet and two sides. Then we ordered the strawberry shortcake and a dessert coffee. Everything was perfect except for desert. The dessert tasted old.

I always enjoy my time at Garrisons. Wonderful prime rib. Great service. Always a very warm welcome from Carlos and the rest of the staff. Great atmosphere!

The food was very good, and the wine was excellent. Only thing I would say wrong is that our waitress didn't check on us very much.

The food needs to be like a combination instead of à la cart. Every item to gain more business needs to be price accordingly to the area. It is in not located in a big city. Food was good flavor.

We love Garrison Oak but tonight we ordered our usual and the shrimp cocktail had changed. It come out and he was covered in some red stuff. Well we proceeded to try it and it was way too spicy. They had changed the way they prepare it and had put a ton of old bay season or something like that I guess to give Cajun flair. There was nothing noted on the menu about this to tell us it was different. And yes we did tell them! Our steak was good but just the meal tonight was not as good as in past.

Wonderful ambiance, outstanding host and waiters , steak was outstanding as was shrimp cocktail and cheesecake dessert! Carlos is an outstanding host , always friendly and professionally dressed! Classy steakhouse!

Both times we have been here the items on the menu we wanted were not available and that's on the first open day of the week (Wednesday) which seems odd. The KY crab cake appetizer was very good! Everything else was not. Service is friendly, but slow. Food and drinks were not brought by our server so there seemed to be confusion in that process. We had checked in 12 minutes prior to our reservation time, but couldn't order until 35 minutes past the reservation time. It was over an hour (and after the appetizer) before the cocktails hit the table. I'd recommend ordering from the bar before getting seated. The onion rolls seem like they came in a bag from the store. The brussels sprouts were dried to a crisp (apparently in an air fryer?). My steak, ordered rare, was unevenly cooked--medium on one side, raw on the other. Would have been better off sous vide. The carrot cake dessert in an iron skillet must have come from a freezer and was quickly run through a pizza oven because the skillet was hot, but the cake was freezing cold. If we go back, we'll just get a pizzas and drinks in the cafeteria for 1/10th the price.

My husband and I went here for our anniversary and it did not disappoint! Service was excellent, everyone kept telling us Happy Anniversary and we truly felt embraced. The food was amazing and atmosphere was so calm and relaxing. Really enjoyed ourselves and will return!

This is our second time ; loved the first time. our server was lovely but waited an hour for food ; watched 2 tables that arrived after us get served and left before we got our food; suggestion let us know what the hold up is ; I could have ordered something else ; we are locals so really love not having to go to Nashville for excellent food! Will be back again
