Only one waitress who said she could not serve wine or spirits because the cabinets were locked. Later, the chef managed to unlock them. Waitress said she would never have come in if she had known she'd be working solo. Ordered nachos, with chicken. Nachos were soggy, chicken was bland, and everything was drowned in nearly flavorless cheese. Could not finish this appetizer, which it certainly was not, and ordered nothing else. There was no host at the door, and we watched as potential patrons left after waiting too long. Another customer, on his way out, told a few who were waiting not to bother and to go elsewhere. Incredibly, the hotel where this restaurant is based was hosting a major convention and the potential for a solid lunch crowd was totally missed. This was by far the worst meal we have ever had in Albuquerque.

Service was mediocre, waitress was very preoccupied by something and got our order wrong, was somewhat confused about what was included with our lunch so we had to order sides to complete the dish. Food was OK not what we are use to after eating at Garduño’s over the last 20+ years. Fajitas were tender but lacked flavor. Chips and salsa were tasty and good.

We were actually unable to get served. We waited 25 minutes for two margaritas; then, the bartender came out and said he didn’t have the ingredients for them. We left.

DREADFUL We should have known when we were told we can’t sit on the patio because they are short staffed…we waited a long wait for the starter which was ok, at best the prawns were bland in the shrimp cocktail which apparently had avocado in it?? And my husband had chicken?? Quesadilla which was bland and mainly cheese…but the mains were absolutely disgusting and we sent them back but my husband had eaten 3 prawns from the sizzling fajitas and silo according to the waitress he had eaten 70% and she said they would knock off 30% of that dish, now I have to say that the waiting staff were under extreme pressure but that’s no excuse for awful food…….never will we go here again!!!

Reservation was for patio seating. Was seated inside. Was told that there was only 1 server for the patio and they could not seat anyone else outside. Waited 10 minutes for waitress to take order. Another 10 minutes to receive drinks. Waited 50 minutes to get our meal. Restaurant was not full, but waitstaff seemed overwhelmed and stressed. Other tables appeared to have similar issues. When done, waited 20 minutes until someone asked if we needed anything else and was able to bring us the check.

Beautiful New Mexican decorated restaurant with enjoyable music and great food! A flight of tequila was fun to try and we really appreciated the many different flavors involved in our chicken & steak fajita meal. Salsa, red & green chili, and pico on the side was really delightful along with tasty rice and beans. Live jazz at qbar lounge in same building just added more delight. Prices were good and pleasing food and music made for a great evening!

I love Gardunos! I had never been to the restaurant in the Albuquerque Hotel before. It was all beautiful. The food was wonderful. The staff was great. Will definitely go again and I love booking through Open Table!

My husband and I split nachos. They were super tasty and more than enough for the two of us. We tried four margaritas between us and they were all quite good, if a bit sweet. Service was great and the interaction between the bartenders and servers was cheerful and friendly. Overall, a fun time!
