Gardenia in Los Gatos is the flagship location for Gardenia Coffee Inc. Nestled in a historic Victorian style mansion, Gardenia is situated in a prime location – the heart of bustling Los Gatos downtown. We aim to host patrons not only in the indoor space with pleasant and warm ambience, but also in the garden like front yard. Gardenia will serve as a community hub for locals and visitors alike, helping foster genuine connection through weekly events and neighboring partners. Striving for excellence, we will offer the finest beverages with a focus on distinctive coffee. Along with our drinks, we will provide gourmet food & exceptional service. (Award winning chef David Intonato is the core in the kitchen using his exceptional culinary skill, creative mind and fresh local ingredients to craft Gardenia menu. Wonderful brunch experience at Gardenia! I had brunch on the patio with 2 of my friends and there was a lovely private event happening on the front lawn. They had live music and great energy. Despite having a private event, service was very timely and we felt very cared for. The food was delicious (we got the tako escargot, deviled eggs, wagyu brisket, breakfast crepe, and almond flour pancakes). Definitely will come here again :)

9/10 Girls Day ~ Lunch at Gardenia was absolutely divine. Greeted with a profressional warm smile & seated immediately outside on a beautiful day. Our server was fabulous. He shared details with joy in response to our questions/concerns. We enjoyed a bottle of wine, paired with several appetizers in an effort to experience as much as possible (Our 1st visit). Every bite was a succulent treat! Lunch at Gardenia was absolutely divine.

The place is lovely! Really loved the restaurant that was there before and was hoping Gardenia would be as good. It’s different but I will be going back. We went for brunch and the Service was excellent. The food is non-traditional but very good.

We were there for brunch. We shared with the Lobster Deviled Eggs were delicious and the peas tendrils were a nice touch. We also shared the Ahi Tuna Tataki which was also delicious (the Jalapeno served with it was hot - remove it if you don't want/like hot peppers). We had a white wine - they didn't have the one on the menu but substituted a reasonable wine that we enjoyed through the meal. My wife had the Breakfast Crêpe. It was good but overly large and not quite served as would be for a traditional crepe, but had a very enjoyable taste - my wife could not finish it, so be hungry if you want to order this item. I had the Gardenia Omelet. I enjoyed it very much - the vegetables, especially the asparagus, were cooked perfectly, cooked but still crunchy. We had desert (the Dark Chocolate Mousse and the Lemon Tart. We shared and they were both delicious, but if you like chocolate, I thought the Dark Chocolate Mousse won. We had Cappuccinos to end. My wife's was not hot enough, though she ordered it extra hot. But they gladly replaced it with a hot one. The service was excellent throughout the meal. We would definitely recommend Gardenia for brunch

Gardenia is such a great place to hang out in Los Gatos! I came here for brunch with my mom and we sat outside. The ambience outdoors is perfect. The servers are all super nice and the food and coffee are delicious. We ordered the breakfast crepe, avocado toast with tempeh, and the chef's seasonal soup. I also got a flat white. Not usually a coffee drinker but I genuinely enjoyed the texture and flavor of the coffee. Would definitely come back! :)

A bit pricey, but a great spot for a special lunch. Both my friend and l had the avocado toast, hers topped with a fried egg and mine with salmon poke. A thick slice of hearty bread with a generous portion of a spicy avocado mash. A salad with picked veggies. The salmon was perfect. Everything was very flavorful- definitely not for bland eaters. A very interesting menu, looking forward to trying other dishes. Good, attentive service. The outdoor seating is beautiful.

The meat is really not fresh. Also, the quality of the food is worse than a lot of brunch places.

If you do come back, we recommend trying the Lobster Deviled Eggs, Grilled Tako "Escargot", Kalua Pork Hash Browns, Breakfast Crepe, Almond Flour Pancakes, and the Smoked Wagyu Brisket.

Beautiful outdoor setting, unfortunately food did not match. My pancakes were burnt and blah and the mocktail so watered down that did not provide any real taste. My friend did like her avocado toast with salmon poke. Cool presentation with her tea.

Super sorry about that - usually the almond flour pancakes are a massive hit! I read an article on Saratogan on its soft opening. As expected the service was slow but the staff were courteous and apologetic. We sat outside so the noise was the street level on Sunday cruising level in LG. The location is lovely and they have a great lawn seating we enjoyed. The food, we enjoyed everything except for my husband who had the French dip. His meat was way too fatty. And only other complaint from me was the “escargot”’s tako was little bit over cooked in the hot escargot pan as it sat on it. But pancakes, pan bagnat, & hash were great! Now we went because of coffee and it was very good. Papa who’s from Europe appreciated the espresso as he remembered it from Austria. Overall good food and drinks. And lovely setting.
