Welcome to Garden Tea at the Getty Center!
Enjoy a lovely selection of delicious teas, specialty cocktails, tasty sandwiches and gorgeous hand-crafted desserts. Located at The Restaurant at the Getty Center, with beautiful views of the California Hills of Brentwood and, on a clear day, the ocean!

Prices are $60/adult, $50/child.
WE MUST BE NOTIFIED OF ALL DIETARY RESTRICTIONS 48-HOURS PRIOR TO RESERVATION TIME.

Reservations get booked weeks to months in advance. Please call us at (310)440-6600 if you are having trouble finding a reservation, or for parties larger than 4.

We have a 15 minute grace period. Please call us at (310)440-6600 if you are going to be late so that we may accommodate for tardiness.

Overall I would give it a B. I was disappointed that the tea was bagged and not loose leaf and they over-poured the water so tea was diluted with only one tea bag. Our server brought us another tea bag but the water was not hot enough to steep tea properly. The bites were enjoyable but some felt like they had been prepped for awhile . On one the prosciutto had browned and become chewy already. I would recommend serving a glass of bubbly with the experience. Glad I was able to experience.

Food was very bad, almost like it was someones leftover. The place was 25% full not sure why such a hipe with reservations. Will not recommend to anyone. The only positive was visiting the museum

This was my second time and both times we had an amazing time. Food, drinks, service- all amazing! On top of that you get to walk around the Getty before and after.

Generous portions of food, interesting tea selection with perennial favorites and new ones to try and the dessert plate was beyond words! Amazing chocolate flowerpots and “pearls” on shells. We had food leftover, would return again and next time order one of their signature cocktails. Celebrated a special occasion there and it was truly memorable and left special memories. Some of the sandwiches were bland after starting with the burrata and pesto but the service and overall experience was S tier.

The food quality and choice of teas was worth the $60 pp cost. A bit sad it was too overcast/windy to sit outside but a lovely lovely time.

The food (sandwiches) took forever to get to us. Our server (Doug) was so great that the delays was forgivable. But man it was loooooooong!
