I have always loved my meal, service....everything at Garden Table! Last night, I got the mussels and they were ok - very fishy tasting! Service and eveything else was great.

We had a fun evening sitting outside this past October evening. We chose Garden Table somewhat because they had a children’s menu. Our adult options were good as well. Our server was very helpful in making choices. The food was well prepared. The only minus I would say is the saltiness of one of the dishes. Tasty at the time, but a lot of water needed later.

Had never been there before. Great food. They did charge for extra bread and extra salad dressing, but let us know upfront when we asked for it.

the outdoor environment is very nice and food was good. just didn't appreciate the bill up charges when nothing was communicated about them.

I dined at the Garden Table in Carmel on Tuesday night and returned on Saturday evening. There was a significant difference in the taste of the Southwestern Salad with Salmon on Saturday vs Tuesday. The salad on Saturday was not as flavorful. When we requested more dressing since the taste of the salad wasn’t that flavorful - were charged an extra $2 per person for the salad. The fried cauliflower was also lacking in its previous taste. The cauliflower seemed less cooked. So to go to dinner and purchase 2 salads ($28 to $30 a piece), a cauliflower appetizer, a beer and a not so great wine ($14) spending more than $100 is very disappointing. If the restaurant is going to charge these prices - the food must be dependable. I have recommended the Garden Table to all of my friends but in the future, I might with reservation. Our waiter was very friendly and offered good service.

Ordered the corn dip and whiskey chicken. Food was very greasy and bland. Zero flavor to the dip, was just 95% white queso with a little corn in it. Chips to dip with were really oily. The chicken entree had no flavor and was swimming in oil. I could only eat about 1/3 of it before my stomach hurt. Service was a little over the top, which I guess is better than the opposite. She kept checking in on us every couple of minutes like they were trying to get us to leave. It was only 8:30 and the entire section was open, so it wasn’t like we were past or near closing or holding up a table for someone else. It was almost as if she forgot she had just checked on us and came back immediately after doing so…several times. This is the 2nd time I’ve tried this restaurant within 18 months and both times food was bad. Cocktails were good, though.

Very tasty food. Restaurant vibe is calm and fresh and cool, but not overly fussy. Fish tacos were nicely seasoned. The slaw on the side was fluffy - not a word I would typically use for slaw, but it was light and fluffy rather than soggy. Salamat desserts were very unique and yummy

Karson was a great waitress! Special was awesome. It is very loud on inside but worth it!
