Great service and food. Had a fantastic weekend thanks to all the staff! The room was super cool and bed was very comfortable!

Very minimalist, apart from the garden, which is overgrown. Rooms were minimal with some nice touches. Hotel full of interesting and unusual teams. No signing, so have to guess where reception, bar, eating areas are. The minimalist continues with the food. One or two items on a plate. Food over salty. You have to pay extra for chips, beans, peas… Service was slow, restaurant manager bubbles around with face stuck to a tablet. Had to ask for butter, jam and milk. The son of MPW was mopping around like a spoilt child. Chatted to those he thought were spending lots of money. Really spoilt the mood of the occasion for us.

Great service, lovely surroundings. Had the residents’ menu as we were also staying. Good price for a tasty meal, needed a couple of sides which were at an extra cost.

Simple but pleasant choice of starters, mains and desserts. Side orders were ample. Beautiful room with unusual decor. Possibly a little dark. Service good.

The menu - though limited - is lovely, but there are supplements to pay everywhere. We even had to pay to add anything to a fillet steak! Want an extra course for breakfast? It will cost you £99. We were charged twice for one dish, and the establishment (despite taking our number) has made no effort to return the money to us.

I dined here for breakfast and lunch for 3 days. There was always something different to select and new dishes were added. Food was divine, service fantastic, ambience is quirky English with Italian renaissance. The staff started calling me by my first name which was a nice touch. I was dining alone and was made to feel very welcome and not put in a corner. I had a chat with Marco who is charming and a great conversationalist. A once in a lifetime experience at this wonderful hotel where I was made to feel part of the family for the short time I was there.

Intriguing venue food surprisingly nothing special and service both rushed and then non existent.

We stayed at the Rudlow Arms as part of a Wowcher deal and while the food was very good, the supplements for some of the menu choices were very high and many of the choices had supplements. The menu was fairly limited and the options for gluten free options (my partner has Coelic disease) were very restricted. Having said that the service was exceptional and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
