Wow! Garde Manger should be on every foodies list of restaurants to hit in Montreal. We sat at the bar and had the five course tasting menu. First two courses were lobster tempura bites with caviar and scallop crudo…both amazing. Next raw bar platter with the usuals as well as a sturgeon pate that was incredible. Halibut, deer venison and the star of the night the pork chop were the mains. Sam was our server and he steered us in all the right directions. We’ll definitely be back!

The reviews are true. Possibly the best dining experience we’ve ever had. My wife and I were able to score a last minute late reservation (thanks OpenTable for the notification)! We were seated at the corner booth which was a great start. The food, ambiance, service was top notch. When you can enjoy dinner and at the end wonder what happened, and where the night went that’s how you know service was great. No interruptions, wine glasses never empty and anything we asked for (hot sauce, salt, etc) was brought immediately, no wait. We ordered the seafood platter (a must), octopus (the best we’ve ever had), hanger steak (amazing flavor), mushrooms (never had mushrooms like this and it was phenomenal), coffee cake (I at the entire cake myself) and 2 bottles of wine (Osmoze- Sancerre, Chateau la nerthe Cuvée des cadettes- chateauneuf de pape). The Chateaubeuf was a recommendation and loved it so much we plan on buying it to drink at home - we absolutely loved it. We’re still talking about our dinner and can’t wait to go back next time we’re in Montreal.

Absolutely one of the best food and service experiences. We sat at the bar, and had excellent service by Julien and Taylor, they should have their own sitcom, kept everyone entertained while multitasking. Highly recommend this food and service experience.

We had a lovely dinner and enjoyed our sixth wedding anniversary together in this place. The service was so on point! The menu was very tasty!

Food and service was amazing, such a special experience to eat here! The chefs tasting menu was wonderful, a great way to try things I wouldn’t normally order.

Food and service were absolutely top notch. We've been to a number of Michelin restaurants and this beat nearly all of them. One of the best meals we have ever had. Go

Food was very good with accectable portions. Food temperture not hot as we like it. Largest draw back was the music from speaker directly above our table was way to loud for conversing.
