Our server might be the worst we’ve ever had! We sat there for 10 minutes before being acknowledged. He proceeded to greet and take care of three tables adjacent to us even though we were seated before any of the other tables. My husband, my son and I were there to celebrate my birthday. When he finally came over to our table, we ordered 2 bottles of wine, a salad, garlic bread and 3 entrees. We asked if we could get a pizza with meat on one side only bc I am vegetarian. The pizza arrived with, not only a different meat than what we had ordered, but meat on the whole thing. Of course, our server was no where to be found. When he was opening our bottles of wine, both times, he turned his back to us and took care of the table behind us as he was opening our wine. He continually disappeared and didn’t check to see if we were ok. We had cash with the bill under one of the wine bottles and instead of waiting for us to give it to him he reached over my husband and snatched it up from under the bottle. There was another server who checked on us 3 times bc he could tell we were being totally neglected. We ended up giving our server 5 percent and the other server 15 percent. Our server brought us a nickel back and then offered us a dessert which we declined. He never asked if anything was wrong. This was our first time here. My son lives in Kensington. We are from LA. We all will definitely come back bc the food, ambiance and value were great but that server needs to go! He was older, thin and was wearing a baseball cap backwards. I’m sure it won’t be hard to identify him. I’m quite sure we are not the only ones to have experienced his arrogance , rudeness, and lack of manners.

Being an Italian away from home is always a struggle. Well, Garage Buona Forchetta's dishes really know how to get to your heart, and take you back to Italy. A "Margherita Napoletana" that's, without a doubt, the BEST pizza of San Diego. The place is really nice and well curated in all the decor and the general atmosphere is very warm. The staff is really attentive, and I want to give a special thanks to the waitress Moira, I really felt the passion and the hard work that she puts in the job. Friendly, funny and helpful, she was able to put a smile on our faces and to make us laugh during the evening. 100% recommend to everyone that wants real Italian food in San Diego.

Really enjoyed the meal. It was a little loud for us and it really impacted one of our guests.

We had dinner the day after Halloween and the decorations at the restaurant were amazing! Garage Buona Forchetta is one of our favorite places to dine as locals. We had the ravioli and the eggplant Parmesan, both delicious and well-portioned. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Food was very bland. The mixed drink was awful. Waitress was very friendly but it didn’t make up for the tasteless heavy food.

Muy buen sitio, comida italiana bien procesada. El Ambiente relajado y amigable. Me tocaron las decoraciones de halloween, excelentes.
