Long wait to order, even though we had reservations. Cold scrambled eggs for brunch. Asked for salt and pepper that never arrived. Bacon not crisp as ordered. This used to be our “go to” spot. We’ll give it one more chance. If it’s not a lot better we will (sadly) cross it off our list.

Busy buzzy Saturday at the Garage. We shared the Sottoterra, a warm salad with the infamous pizza oven foccacia followed by the Short Rib Pappardelle special and ended with the panna cotta desert (two to be exact, but who's counting). It was beyond outstanding.

We had a party of six. Some had never been. 3 different salads, 2 different pastas, bread and 2 pizzas were ordered all were delicious.

That is FOOD! Just an amazing Quality and Service and proper Wine Selection you can choose out of Shelf and consume while having Dinner. That’s the way to spoil your Guests. Last but not least…YOU get YOUR Time to eat without any RUSH. ❤️💯👌🏻🙋🏼‍♂️🇩🇪

Service was very friendly…BUT….. There were 4 of us for breakfast. It took probably 30 minutes for 3 of the breakfast orders to come out. Then we awkwardly ate while my niece waited another 10 minutes for her breakfast to come out because she insisted that we not wait. The restaurant was not busy, so I do think it was an issue of the kitchen being backed up. This has happened before at breakfast there which is why I am posting this now. Everyone gets one bad day. But the second one gets a review. I hope they can fix this as the owners and staff are super friendly.

I value service very much, so my rating is based on the horrible service we received - I would have given 0 stars for the service, but I was forced to select at least 1 star. In my book, delicious food and/or amazing ambiance cannot make up for horrible service. We arrived for a 6pm reservation. We had to wait 15 minutes to be seated. They seated walk-up parties of the same size before us with no explanation as to why. Once we were sat at our table, we were not acknowledged by our waiter for 25 minutes. No exaggeration. 25 minutes. When he finally arrived, he asked grumpily, “do you want something to drink?” There was no hello, no how are you, no sorry to keep you waiting. This is unacceptable to me. We saw our drink orders sitting at the bar, but he didn’t bother picking them up and bringing them to us for another 10 minutes. Then we waited another 10 minutes for him to take our order. Our food was delivered by a food runner, which is fine, but the waiter never checked on us to see if we needed anything. When it was obvious we were done eating, he came over and presented the bill. Didn’t even ask how it was. For the price we paid for the food, I expect better service, that is part of the experience of a place that charges more for their meals. This is not my first time here. I experienced the same poor service previously (though not to this extent) but I did not leave a review because I was hoping this time would be different. Unfortunately, it was not. Positives - there was live music, she was lovely to listen to, and the ambiance was cozy. What my husband ordered was delicious.
