Let me start by saying that our overall experience was delightful. We had no clue that it was attached to a hotel; however, the vibe of the place is extremely chill with the live jazz playing. The food was wonderful. The only issue that came up was my wife’s steak was undercooked; however, they promptly brought out a new steak to replace it, and gave her a drink on the house in honor of her birthday and the mistake. Lastly, our server, Cole, was amazing. He was attentive and gave solid recommendations.

The restaurant is absolutely gorgeous! The jazz band was great, but even sitting at the table furthest way from them, it was difficult to hold a conversation. Our waiter was very soft spoken and we often had to ask him to repeat himself with everything he said. We were a table of 8 and there was no issue getting a reservation on a Saturday night. The staff accommodated our requests for seating, having some diners with special needs when it comes to seating and ease of access. The food was plated very well and all came out very hot. Unfortunately, the consensus was that everything was over salted. I had the surf and turf special which was a 5 oz filet and a 1/2 lobster tail topped with topped with scallops and lobster meat. The steak was charred on one side and was not the medium steak that I had ordered. I cut the charred edges off and tried to make the best of it. The half lobster ended up being a piece of lobster shell with a table spoon of lobster, 3 small scallops and about 1/2 teaspoon of chopped lobster meat. The seafood was delicious, but in reality, it was less than 2 mouthfuls. The waiter checked on us and asked about the steak after seeing the charred remnants. I told him it was charred and overcooked. He offered to bring out a new steak, but by that time, I was ready to get the check. Everyone loved the salads and deserts. The prime rib was a hit. My friend had the swordfish, which she enjoyed, but commented about the sodium. Another guest had the BBQ shrimp. She was impressed with the amount of shrimp and pasta, but again, complained it was too salty. The drink menu is very large and there is something for everyone. The prices for food and drinks were reasonable for a quality restaurant in a tourist city. I’d try Gannon’s again, but I’d be more specific and ask questions to see if they could use less salt. The atmosphere is great to just sit and have a couple drinks and a snack if we decided to not have dinner.

We are from New Orleans and in town for a wedding. We were thrilled to learn that Gannon’s has a true Nola influence w a chef from Commander’s Palace. The oysters are sourced from Louisiana and they were top tier. The duck confit empanada was sublime! The live jazz trio made our evening. We will definitely be back!

We were concerned when we saw the restaurant’s entrance was in a hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with the ambience and decor, and it only got better as our server was wonderful and the food excellent. The pork chop was amazing.

Service was great! Atmosphere was excellent. Prime rib was very good. Ribeye special was ok. Wine selection was spot on!

Service was amazing! The food was delicious but a little pricey. Piano was beautifully played and the ambience was relaxing.

Adjacent to the courtyard Marriott. Dark wood interior beautifully done. Food was good not fabulous. I got the ny strip it had a lot of gristle but tasted good. My wife had the swordfish very good. Service was very good. Price was reasonable with 2 cocktails included $150

The food was amazing. Mushroom Risotto was outstanding and the double cut pork chop was the best chop I’ve ever had. My date got the swordfish special and she said in was to die for. I wish they would have more selections for glasses of red wine, but that’s hard. My date and I drink different wine she likes white and I like red. So can’t order a bottle. Gannons was outstanding!!!
