Very very hot. No fan. Terrible menu. Very few choices. Mediocre food. Had better food at a local diner for 40% less cost. Poor service. Never got all the food we ordered.

The hot kitchen was closed to to some technical failure and the heat. They did well trying to accommodate us with salads and cold food items.

This place is magical, luv the greenery and garden like ambiance. I really enjoy the diff cocktail concoctions, the old school elevator and ticket booth in entrance. The menu has a good selection and service is good. The quotes are authentic and view is gorgeous.

Gallow Green is a magical place, an oasis of greenery and hip earthiness hidden high above the bustle of NYC. This has been a favorite of ours for more than a decade and continues to deliver amazing memories.

Our server was incredibly rude. I’m sorry but this ruined the experience for us. Maybe she was just having a bad day or something but it was hard to shake off. The food was good (perhaps a bit overpriced), the ambience was lovely, and all other staff members that we interacted with were pleasant.
