We've been to Galliano many times and have usually been very pleased with the experience. It's a very attractive restaurant with good styling and comfortable seating--chairs and booths. Three of us dined on a Saturday morning (into afternoon) for my mom's birthday. Galliano is not busy at this time so it was quiet. (Sunday brunch has more of a buzz here.) The service was great. Gracie took care of us well, anticipating our needs and being very responsive throughout the meal. The food is expertly prepared and presented and the portions are (overly!) generous. My mom enjoyed the bread basket: soft Italian semolina bread served with a bowl of well-seasoned extra virgin olive oil. I ordered the beef carpaccio as a starter. It was a beautiful dish, the meat was melt-in-your-mouth, and it was topped with a salad of baby arugula, mushrooms, fennel, and Parmigiano-Reggiano with a light vinaigrette. My wife dug into some of it too and liked it. For entrées, my mom enjoyed the Big G breakfast plate. It looked wow! Eggs, several links of breakfast sausage, crispy smoked bacon, a potato-pepper hash, fruit. She took half of it home. My wife loves the grilled salmon-quinoa salad, and she devoured it. I ordered the pear-gorgonzola salad with grilled salmon for the first time, and I wouldn't hesitate to order that again. Delicious. As residents of Maple Lawn since 2015, we feel blessed to have restaurants like Galliano in our development.

Alex, our waiter, was very attentive, helpful, and cordial. The dishes were well prepared and seasoned, and portions were ample. Some menu offerings were traditional Italian fare and others were a little more surprising. However, the kitchen fell behind in bringing out one of the entrees (though they made sure it was presented hot). A chicken cutlet was too chewy (perhaps overheated in microwave). When I mentioned this to the maitresse d' she arranged a free dessert for us. We paid anyway--for a delicious ice cream concoction. All in all, one gets the sense that the management and staff are focused on details that matter in running a quality restaurant.

Fun Wednesday night at Galliano's. We arrived early, around 5:30, just in time for a high top seat near the bar and were happily surprised to learn that there would be a singer performing Sinatra-era tunes. The grilled octopus was delicious and we enjoyed the lite fare salmon entrees. Galliano's still provides a basket of bread with dipping oil, which was appreciated as we enjoyed our wine and the music. It's a neighborhood fav and we'll go back often.

Food (pear and Gorgonzola salad, lasagna) were good and our server was knowledgeable and helpful.....But, the music in the bar was just too loud. Even though we were seated away from it, the music was loud. Had we been in the bar or seated closer to the bar we would not have been able to talk over it.
