Alex, our waiter, was very attentive, helpful, and cordial. The dishes were well prepared and seasoned, and portions were ample. Some menu offerings were traditional Italian fare and others were a little more surprising. However, the kitchen fell behind in bringing out one of the entrees (though they made sure it was presented hot). A chicken cutlet was too chewy (perhaps overheated in microwave). When I mentioned this to the maitresse d' she arranged a free dessert for us. We paid anyway--for a delicious ice cream concoction. All in all, one gets the sense that the management and staff are focused on details that matter in running a quality restaurant.

Fun Wednesday night at Galliano's. We arrived early, around 5:30, just in time for a high top seat near the bar and were happily surprised to learn that there would be a singer performing Sinatra-era tunes. The grilled octopus was delicious and we enjoyed the lite fare salmon entrees. Galliano's still provides a basket of bread with dipping oil, which was appreciated as we enjoyed our wine and the music. It's a neighborhood fav and we'll go back often.

Overall, excellent. Bistro Salad was extremely good. The server was attentive. Coffee was a great way to end the meal.

Food (pear and Gorgonzola salad, lasagna) were good and our server was knowledgeable and helpful.....But, the music in the bar was just too loud. Even though we were seated away from it, the music was loud. Had we been in the bar or seated closer to the bar we would not have been able to talk over it.

The restaurant was not busy, so it was very quiet to celebrate my husband's birthday. The servers were very pleasant. It was a great experience The food was excellent, as usual

Excellent food, very nice service and attention. Our server Joe was there but not there - perfect! The noise level was more than I enjoy but would not keep me from returning.
