In the 1980’s, Pádraic Óg was the first to Flip & Fill a Pan Boxty and create this restaurant - The now famous Gallagher’s Boxty House, placing Boxty centre stage to showcase the best of Irish produce and renowned Irish hospitality in an ambiance reminiscent of an old Irish kitchen. The food is very delicious. We both had appetizers, then the corned beef and desserts.

Food was great, portions could have been slightly larger. Otherwise staff were lovely and engaging. Beer flight was lovely and the location perfect to explore the area around. Would recommend going back!

Great place to try some delicious Irish food. The oysters were so fresh. I got the gach rud. Make sure you have a big appetite & like potatoes haha we were there on American Thanksgiving so the special was roast turkey and they did an excellent job. Service was friendly and attentive. Casual dining with a cozy atmosphere . Loved it

A must visit while in Dublin. The food is consistently good and the service is quick. I enjoy coming here whenever I'm in town.

Simple but well prepared dishes- somewhat European fusion style 😁 . Mist use Boxty- a kind of potato pancake - even nachos prepared with it. Good experience, good service overall.

Food was outstanding. If you want a proper authentic taste of Ireland come here. Beautiful little bistro style place with wonderfully friendly staff, great food at pretty reasonable prices for what you're getting.
