In 1974, George and his wife Joan ventured out to what was then considered the country. They found the perfect location on the shores of Diamond Lake. A great deal has changed since then, but our commitment to service and great food hasn’t. We welcome you to visit and see what’s new. The 4 of us headed out for a nice dinner and we chose Gale St. We chose well. Though our menu choices were not varied since we all had ribs but they were wonderful. Flavorful and falling off the bone made for a great meal. Our service was fantastic. He was funny but most importantly he gave terrific service. Overall Gale St. was a fantastic experience and we will return.

Saturday evening - ribs and prime rib combo was as good as it gets. Service was outstanding and seemed sincere. Didn't seem as busy as you would expect a weekend dinner time would have been. A great Drink was their version of a classic Manhattan served in a chilled glass with a top shelf vermouth. Caprise salad was a winner as well. Price was somewhat expensive, but this was one of those times it was worth the cost.

We all (4 of us) ordered their famous for ribs. They were delicious. Definitely fall off the bone. Our server Mario was very attentive. We enjoyed our visit.

A great experience. Saul, the manager is fantastic. We enjoyed the booth overlooking Diamond Lake in the bar area. The Bartender and all service members were very attentive. We asked for Pear Martinis that weren't on the menu but they made the best for us. Food was great - Calamari - ribs - beet salad: highly recommend. Overall great experience. We will be back. Thank you.

Was not overly impressed. Spent over $225 and had to send the lobster tail back because it was not cooked enough.

We celebrated our 41st wedding anniversary at Gale Street Inn in Diamond Lake. The food and service were excellent. My wife ordered off the menu and I ordered one of the specials for dinner that night. The food was delicious. The service by our server, Mario, and the other assistants was exemplary. The bartender was also very accomodating in making a drink that was not on the usual cocktail list. We will definitely return to Gale Street Inn.

Everything was amazing from beginning to end! The food, atmosphere, service, quality & portions of food were all far above average expectations, and the bill was quite reasonable for everything in my opinion. And our server, Mary, was very friendly, engaging, knowledgeable, funny, and helpful, while providing expert suggestions and recommendations from the menu, thus making the entire experience all the more enjoyable. This was my second time here in as many weeks and I will definitely be returning frequently. Thank-you...

Had an amazing dinner. The new manager is amazing. He’s been there a while but recently promoted. He’s so friendly, checked on us, and really cares about all the patrons. We had one of the specials, a grilled peach salad which was amazing and needs to be on the menu full time. And I had the best cucumber jalapeño margarita I think I have ever had!! Any wait to go back.

We had not been to Gale Street in 30 years and we were a little skeptical of how it would be. But, we were more than pleasantly surprised. Birthday celebration with 8 people. Although, the new location is not directly on the lake like the old one was, the view is still good. What is the show stopper is the food. High quality,well prepared and delicious! And what a great value. If you want an amazing steak, skip the fancy chain steakhouse and go to Gale Street.
